AgriSan women have continually pulled together efforts to plant various kinds of crops in the community garden. This time around, we are harvesting corn and groundnuts.

AgriSan Impact Story I – Ojakol Florence

As a resident of Kadoto village in Eastern Uganda, Ojakol Florence and her family were in constant search of opportunities and resources to improve their livelihoods. When AgriSan presented her with the opportunity to join the initiative, Ojakol did not even hesitate for a second.

Reflecting back on her decision in 2017,
Ojakol testifies that AgriSan has opened her eyes to ways to improve the livelihoods of her and her family. In addition to this, she has also learnt the ins and outs of managing a vegetable farm and increasing its output.

Ojakol Florence is currently the Chairperson of the Community Garden, and this experience has honed her leadership and teambuilding abilities.
