The Eastern SRHR Coalition Members Convened a Meeting to develop a Regional Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Agenda and Action Plan.

The Regional SRHR Agenda and Action Plan will serve as a shared roadmap to guide their collective advocacy and programming efforts at the regional level.

The purpose of this meeting was to collectively discuss the approach, priorities, and contributions required for the development of the Regional SRHR Agenda and Action Plan.

The coalition brings together diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, non-governmental organizations, community leaders, and youth advocates, all united in their commitment to promote healthy outcomes and uphold the rights of individuals to make informed choices about their reproductive health.

This year, we are putting much energy in Cocoa farming, a leading cash crops that will sustainably boost the economic standards of living of struggling people of Kakoro and Uganda in general.

We proudly closed out the year 2024 with our third graduation ceremony, marking a momentous occasion. This year, we celebrated the achievements of 26 young mothers, comprising 20 graduates in Tailoring (Fashion & Design) and 6 in Hairdressing and Cosmetology.

The guest of honor was Kakoro subcounty Community Development Officer Mr. Kireta David who represented Butebo District local government.
