YES-BUSIA | END OF WEEK ACTIVITIES

It has been another impactful week of learning, farming, and community engagement!
👩🏾‍🌾 We held a preparatory meeting with farmers for the 2nd season, helping them plan and prepare for a productive season ahead.
🌾 We visited our farmers and witnessed the bumper harvests from the 1st season a reflection of their hard work and commitment.
🧪 Farmers also received their soil sample results and were guided on how to interpret them, enabling them to make better and more informed decisions for their farms.
Together, we continue to build healthier soils, productive farms, resilient communities, and a greener future.

Knowledge for Better Farming

Farmers received the results of soil samples collected from their gardens and were guided through the findings to help them better understand their soil health, nutrient levels, and what their gardens need for improved productivity.
By understanding their soil, farmers can make more informed decisions on fertilizer application, soil management, and crop production.

Better soil knowledge → Better farming decisions → Better harvests.
