FROM LOCKDOWN LEARNING TO THE GLOBAL STAGE

We are incredibly proud of Akandwanaho Beran, a P.7 pupil at Parental Care Bushenyi, whose journey proves that opportunity and determination can change lives. Beran continued learning during the COVID-19 lockdown through our Home Schooling Program, and today he is excelling on national and international platforms.

After shining at the National Debate Championship, his school went on to emerge number one at the Pan-African International Debate Championship in Kigali, Rwanda, with Munroe Primary School from South Africa as the runners-up. Next stop: Canada, where Beran will be part of the delegation representing Africa at the World Championship 🌍

We are so proud of you, Beran. Go and show the world what Bushenyi and young Africans can do!

Yesterday, our Team Leader Mr. Elisa Kaunda had the honour of attending the Top Class Graduation at Bushenyi Town School.

We were truly impressed by the incredible creativity in recycling showcased by the young learners. From turning straws into stylish outfits, to transforming sacks and bottle tops into beautiful art pieces — the students proved that innovation has no age limit!

A big thank you to the school administration for the warm invitation and for nurturing such talent. And to the brilliant learners; your creativity, confidence, and commitment to protecting the environment are truly inspiring. Keep shining!
