Mrs Joseline T, Dean of students at Africa Renewal University took us through a life giving session where she shared her personal testimony as a child that went through torture. This session gave room to mothers to open up their painful experiences. It was such a moment of healing, personal forgiveness and repentance. Sara Cain, a licensed social worker from the USA unveiled the deeper facts about attachment following Erikson's Psychosocial Theory."Trust vs Mistrust! She took us through attachment styles, infant trauma cycle and infant attachment cycle. It was such an honor to have mothers turn up for the Caregivers training which was held on 3rd August 2024. Ms. Peace HOD for school of Humanities & Social Sciences @ Africa Renewal University unveiled deeper facts about parenting, parenting styles and how each parenting style affects a child's behavior. This gave mothers room to evaluate their parenting approaches and appreciated knowledge acquired on parenting during the training.
