kayunga charity initiative (KCI) is a charity community organization that deals with charity services at community level in kayunga district. The need to establish the organization arose due to the challenges identified in communities while implementing the voluntary work of Red Cross in kayunga by young people namely; Kamara Denis, Wasswa Patrick Adams, Badhaza Richardson and Nassali Esther In 2
003 which were a sub-branch of mukono. The organization targets the most vulnerable people in communities like orphans, children with HIV, the disabled, widows, elderly and young single mothers. The organization collects and distributes household and scholastic materials from well-wishers, members and donors to improve the lives of vulnerable people in communities they live thus giving them a hope for tomorrow. Since 2003, the organization has supported a number of people and children with scholastic materials, clothes, shoes among other materials from different partners and people of a kind heart. The main support to this charity comes from members who sacrifice the little they have to offer help to the no haves. This patriotic kind of heart is the basis of our work.
