Mbarara registered 1,678 new HIV infections between Jan–Dec 2025.

Breakdown:
• 42 children (0–14)
• 448 youths (15–24)
• 883 adults (25–39)
• 305 aged 40+

Adults & youths carry the biggest burden. SRH awareness, testing & prevention remain urgent.
