A few days ago one of the women in our Woven Hearts of Hope group, had a house fire and lost everything.
We are thankful no one was hurt and that the houses nearby had no damage.
It is encouraging to see the neighbors offering help, giving her a place to stay, and giving her a few things till another home can be built.
Please pray for her as she walks this journey and that the funds can be provided to help her recover and rebuild.

☆Today the women will meet together for biblestudy, and it will be the first time together again since our Christmas party that was in Dec.

☆We give the women "off" for the month of January, because it is the long school holiday for the children here, and we encourage them to spend time together as a family.

☆Our Christmas party for the women's group included alot of fun, food, dancing and gifts. (Yes, it happened in Dec. but sharing with you now).

☆We introduced the "exchange game" with them that we love to do with the youth. Let's just say the mama's are a bit more aggressive then the youth. Their options to pick from were....
• Glass dish sets
• Blanket, sheets, Mosquito net
• Pillow, sheets
• Cooking pans, knife, food
• Cooking pan, "live" chicken
• Food bin
• Luganda or English Bible w/solar light
• Cups, utensils waterbottle, umbrella

Each one also recieved a Christmas bonus to help with expenses during their holiday/time off.

This past week during our women's Bible study and worship, one of our group members gave a testimony how she had been very sick and thanked God for His healing on her life.
She danced for Jesus during worship, praising Him, for His goodness on her life. ❤️

We are all smiles over here with 4 new babies born in a month to women who are part of the ministry, AND a few more to come in the next weeks.

One of the special blessings of our women's ministry is having these hand bags with cloth diapers, baby clothes and a blanket, available to bless our mama's with after they give birth.
Sometimes it's delivered by bike or sometimes on foot through the gardens or forest. Either way, we are always happy to have the baby snuggles when we reach the location 💞

Please pray for our Women's Ministry and community as we grieve the loss of our dear friend.
She has been part of the ministry for 6 years, and made beautiful baskets that helped to support her family.
She leaves behind 5 children ages 1-14 that attend Door of Hope Community Church. 💔🙏🏼

♡ Next month Woven Hearts of Hope is celebrating 11 years!! God has been so faithful!

♡ We were blessed to host a friend last month who sponsored an all day women's retreat for our group and also a few women who are not yet part of our group for a total of 115 ladies.

♡ We all enjoyed Chai and mandazi for a break during discussion time.

♡ A delicious full meal for lunch, (which was very much appreciated by these mama's).

♡ Each left with the knowledge of how special, unique and chosen they are by their Father God.

Thank you for your continual prayers, love and support for these women.
