These spaces speak of how urgent young girls deserve to not only know their bodies but navigate into cultivating a cultural of regular check ups. To not only know the connotative appearance of their reproductive system but also go deep to understand the denotative morphology.

This is where girls clinic heart lays. The awareness, sensitization and practical solution that focuses on actual check ups, provision of subsidization medication so young girls in Nabitende Secondary school and many other school going girls can go through a less uncomfortable menstruation.

Yesterday , We had an inspiring and thought-provoking session with the Kyusa Club youth, led by the incredible Nanono Olivia, CEO of Enhance Humanity Uganda.
The conversation centered on identity and self-image unpacking how the voices around us can shape the way we see ourselves, the choices we make, and the paths we take in life. It was honest, eye-opening, and deeply relatable.

What stood out most was the emphasis on mindfulness learning how to protect our sense of self, filter external opinions, and grow into who we truly are, not who the world pressures us to be.
Moments like these remind us how important it is to create safe spaces where young people can reflect, question, and rise with confidence
The future is bright and it’s in the hands of self-aware, empowered youth.

Teachers are at the heart of every learning environment and when they are empowered, real change happens.
Through our recent training, we worked closely with teachers to strengthen their role in advancing menstrual equity in schools. By equipping them with accurate knowledge, practical tools, and confidence, they are now better prepared to create safe, supportive, and stigma-free spaces for students who menstruate.
A menstrual-friendly learning environment goes beyond access to products it means understanding, empathy, and open conversations. Teachers are now actively:
• Promoting menstrual health education in classrooms
• Supporting students with dignity and without judgment
• Identifying and addressing barriers that affect attendance and participation
• Encouraging a culture where no student feels ashamed of their body
When teachers lead the conversation, schools become places where every student can thrive every day of the month.
This is how we move closer to menstrual equity: by involving those who shape young minds every single day.

This women’s day we marked the day by standing with the menstruators who continue to face barriers simply because they menstruate. Through our RedCode initiative, we distributed 370 menstrual products to young girls and women, reminding them that dignity, health and confidence should never be a luxury.
Women’s Day is not only about celebration, it is about solidarity, access, and ensuring that every girl can move through life without shame or limitation.
To the menstruators of Kidaago:
Your strength, resilience and dreams matter. Today and every day.
We are proud to keep breaking the silence around menstruation and building a future where no girl is left behind.

Empowering of the children without sensitising their parents still leaves gaps in attainment an environment that free and openly talks about menstrual health with confidence. By involving the parents and making them understand why it’s ideal to have open conversations about menstrual health meets the key aspects in the eradication process and works as a stepping stones and a channel for a greater cause.
