Friends of Education Bwindi Turning potential into reality We believe that education is a fundamental right for every child. This is a situation we find to be unacceptable.

Access to education in many countries depends on the ability to pay school fees and access to scholastic material. As a result, the most disadvantaged children, such as those with one or no parents, often forego an education. Through our experience working with community leaders, we understand that the first step to ending this vicious cycle of poverty is providing education to children. We believ

e that in doing so, we will be allowing them to maximize their potential and enabling them to eventually give back to their community as adults.
