Blessing Hands 4Children Uganda -To restore love, hope and faith to vulnerable and orphaned children
-To nurture and support kids' education, love, care and raising voices for their rights.

Blessing Hands Uganda exist as a response to the needs of a village in Bugiri, Uganda. In this village are children with no access to good education, live in a poor environment without safe drinking water.We have an orphanage caring for over 60 children, 21 of them are orphans while the others are vulnerable and living in poor environments!! MISSION

ren in school to help them study well. To build a children"s home and watch over their educational and physical welfare by removing problems to learning and growth. Help the children to hope towards the future an acquire an interest in their studies like math,science and English that will give them a door in to more opportunities. A BELATED HAPPY EASTER TO YOU AND YOURS!

This month is a third over already, and we are finally able to send out a much needed newsletter.

The children had an amazing Easter celebration, when you get a chance you should check out the pictures! (See attached)

There is so much that we are thankful and grateful to God and our Blessing Hands for, it's hard to know where to start! Our faithful donors such as Mary Jerums, Kim Caldwell, Nancy Smith, and Nathan Dunham, among others have all given inspiration to those who get to witness what goes on behind the scenes. THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!!!!!

Denis reports that we could use more firewood ($90), female sanitary supplies ($50), We'll need more food around 3/4 of the month ($150), and we need $150 for recent medical bills, totaling $440. Denis has something to say here:

Greetings from Uganda to you all in Australia

and the USA
We feel so privileged to write to you this morning, and we hope Abba Father has kept you all in good health.

Thank you for the kind support you extend to the children here at Blessing Hands and to our community. Thank you for blessing the children with their tuition needs, and thank you for the Easter gifts. We were able to have meat and sodas throughout the Easter weekend, and the children absolutely loved it.

We are praying for everyone facing difficulties or health challenges, whether for you or a loved one in Australia

or the USA. We are with you in spirit, regardless of the miles between us.

As you continue to serve a child here despite the distance, may God touch you and bring healing wherever you are.

We are also praying for our big brother who intends to visit us later this year. We pray for joy and safety over his journey, in Jesus’ name.

HAPPY MARCH EVERYONE!

It is a beautiful day where I'm at, here in Southern California. I hope you all are faring WELL this winter season. I know a lot of people are under the weather right now, but we pray for speedy recoveries for you all!

I am so excited to share with you that Loy and Nathan, two of our college aged kids, have received one form of college scholarship or another from some very BLESSED PEOPLE, our sisters (and my literal mother,) Nancy Smith (in the USA), and Kim Caldwell (of Australia,) have put these two into school. We are still praying for funds for Brian to come through, may God bless him as well!

Hello family, We are thrilled to share the outstanding news that Loy has achieved exceptional results in her final National Exams, culminating four years of hard work and dedication to her High School education. As she stands at the threshold of an exciting new chapter, she has the opportunity to pursue either a Nursing Course or an Accountant Course, trusting in the Lord's provision. Her preference is for the Nursing Course, a two and a half year program comprising five semesters, with each semester costing $800 USD. We also have three students in need of support, and you can choose to sponsor one or two of them. We are fervently praying for God's divine provision to make their educational aspirations a reality. HELLO BLESSING HANDS!

It is with a heavy heart I write today, for the children's new school term date has come and gone, and we are in need, in order for the kids to get back in school.
Regardless of the reason, this is our current truth: We need $750 dollars in order to put the elementary kids K-12, back in school. However we have 3 more children whom are college hopefuls. They have gotten good grades, and are very much hoping to go to extended studies. Denis and I have talked about it, and we realize that these 3 college hopefuls may need to save up their own money in order to get to college, as many young people must do, even in America and Australia. However, Uganda is a very poor nation, and young people DO NOT HAVE THE SAME OPPORTUNITIES TO WORK! There is not a burger joint on every street corner as it seems in other, more wealthier nations. This task of the children getting to college may prove extremely difficult without our help. I have advised Denis to get the K-through-12 kids into school first, and then we can raise funds for the other three. Denis will include details as to what it will take to get the three into college, with their names, costs, etc.

Praise God family! It's a new day and a new month, and we're thankful for the gift of life and all the blessings in our lives. Calvary greetings!

We want to express our gratitude for all God has done for us. Our children have food, medical supplies, and firewood, thanks to all who've supported them.

We're thrilled Edrine, our medical student, is back on campus for a new semester! Thanks to Mama Nancy for her continued support. We also thank God for tuition provisions for our secondary and upper primary students. Thank you, Brother Eric, Sister Amber, and Brother Nate.

We're grateful for the orphanage's infrastructure development, especially the new classrooms. Thanks to our Australia family - Auntie Kim, Ross, and Hellen - for completing the building. Mary supported us with foundation stones for the walls.

Now, we have 3 students hoping to join college this year: Loy, Nathan, and Brian. Each needs $800 per semester for 4 semesters. We're trusting God for provision, just as He provided for Edrine. Amen!

Hello All Of You Beautiful Blessing Hands!

This is a special edition to the normal fare that we bring, from your Blessing Hands 4Children Uganda Admin. You see, Uganda is suffering in a difficult time for her people. The current standing president is Yoweri Musevani whom is a dictator which has been able to consolidate his military strength into staying in power for 40 years, and the people are tired of it. He also does not support free speech and has turned the internet off to keep their people from dissent and freely speaking about the election, which took place on the 15th of January, this new year of 2026. However, the internet appears to still be off.

The net effect for Denis and the Orphanage has been a bit of distress in staying in touch. Denis has been periodically checking in by getting wifi at an undisclosed location, which I am keeping from writing details of for his safety.

In the meantime, I don't exactly know how much the children need to get to school, or even when the deadline is; all I'm going to ask is that you have mercy and give. Give to our beautiful children, and be compassionate, love on them, the way Jesus would, be the only Jesus these kids might ever see. We need your help to make this next semester possible. I suspect that about $1100 still needs to be raised for the kids to go back to school.

It remains to be seen, who has won the latest Ugandan election, but the way Denis describes it, Musevani will not let Bobi Wine win. I just read that Musevani has in fact put Bobi Wine (the opposition leader), under house arrest, after the vote took place.

PRAY FOR UGANDA. PRAY FOR A FREEDOM LOVING LEADER TO BE ELECTED. PRAY THAT FREEDOM WILL REIGN IN UGANDA.

2 Corinthians 3:17: "Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom".

Be encouraged, Denis, and the people of Uganda, for the deliverer of your spirit, Jesus, is alive and reigns forevermore. Look to him alone for your freedom!

Hello To All You Blessing Hands! HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I will open this newsletter with the Benediction Prayer, a prayer of great blessing, spoken for all of you who read this letter:

The LORD bless thee, and keep thee:
The LORD make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee:
The LORD lift up his countenance upon thee, and give thee peace.
Numbers 6:24-26
The year of 2025 was full of challenges, things to be grateful for, and interesting changes around the Blessing Hands 4 Children Uganda Orphanage Campus. We thank God for the children being able to stay in school, including our Edrine, who is in medical school, and all of you wonderful donors who helped make these things happen. We are grateful for the new building edition, and for our Australian aunties, and American aunties and uncles who have helped in each their own ways, you all make our world go 'round. We are thankful for you, for it all, and for all that you do, to provide a better life for our little ones.

We have need of the school funds for the spring term, to the tune of $1500, for the elementary and secondary education children. The price of food has been going up in Uganda, and we do have a bit of food in reserve (at least 3 bags of beans) to prepare for prices to go up in January and February, hence, we could use all the help we can get.

We do have $220 to apply to the children's education, so the current total we need to get the kids in school is approximately $1280. Please give ANYTHING towards this goal. $5 is not too small, and we are so very grateful for every penny.

Happy New Year! We praise God for the gift of life and His immense provisions for the children at Blessing Hands. We want to take a moment to express our heartfelt gratitude for your beautiful prayers and for being the hands and feet of God. Thank you for serving the children in countless ways.

We appreciate your support in providing food, firewood, medical supplies, and other basic needs. Your contributions have kept the children in school, covering tuition fees for those in upper primary, secondary, high school, and colleges like Edrine in Medical School. This year, we have 2 more students waiting for their national exams, and if they perform well, they'll need help joining college.

We're also grateful for the infrastructural development at Blessing Hands. Our new classroom building is complete, with a roof, plaster, metallic doors and windows, glass, and paint. HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

Denis doesn't know it at this very second, but we will be writing the latest newsletter TODAY, on THANKSGIVING DAY (Here in America)! Oh yes, and we do have SO MUCH TO BE THANKFUL FOR!

Denis Dictates Our Thankfulness:
We would like to thank God first of all, who has always come through for us when the needs seem to press into us on every side. We thank God that our children have been kept in school, and they have been fed at the orphanage. Loy, Nathan and Brian, (and Edrine) have all been kept in school, miraculously! Edrine has been in med school, and we are especially thankful for all our donors that have both been keeping him in school and for your prayers for him. Also, we have managed to add more to the building infrastructure, of which we are very pleased! We're thankful for all the firewood, food, and medical support, both God and you have been there when we needed you most! And for that we are eternally grateful. We thank God in advance for your good heath, and thank you for your love, and provision toward all present at Blessing Hands Uganda.

This passage is one which describes a blessing, that is CONDITIONAL:
Don't walk in the counsel of the ungodly.
Don't stand in the path of sinners.
Don't be scornful.
Meditate on God's word and laws.
And you will have great blessings!
I love it.
And I am thankful today, for God's guidance, and I'm sure you are too!

BROTHER ERIC ADDS: Please keep in mind, it is the month of Christmas coming up, and if you'd like, we invite you to earmark some funds for the children to have a Christmas party. We hope to provide sodas and candy, as well as some meat for the children on Christmas Day! You might also reach to provide for the children's most pressing needs, which right now are firewood and female sanitary supplies. Also, Denis just told me that our teachers and helpers have served us since the beginning of the year and we wish to bless them with a Christmas gift, so they can share with their families; there are 4 teachers and 5 helpers.

We are so GRATEFUL to you for your GENEROSITY and LOVE! THANK YOU TO OUR AUSTRALIAN AND AMERICAN BLESSING HANDS! We love you!

Here are our pressing needs, we are in an effort to get all the children to school, once again. Denis reports that there has been a total of $990 given towards the kid's schooling this term, thus far.

He also just reported that we need $250 for Nathan, whom is doing Sciences, and we need $150 for Loy who is in High School candidate classes. Also, Denis reports that the elementary children need $190 to be fully funded for the next term.

The grand total to be fully funded is $590.
