As we continue to empower and build student capacity in schools under: Talk and Help Project together with Tr Anna Spala, learners from Primary school No.1 Koluszki, Poland, and the learners from Uganda had a reflection session with learners from Poland and Uganda singing an Irish song " MOLLY MOLANE " . As part of our Talk and Help Project, learners from St Josephin in Uganda together with No1. Koluszki, Poland organised by teacher Anna Spala show cased their local sports and games adding a rich cultural flavor to the exchange. This interactive session aimed at foster cross cultural understanding, promote team work, develop skills( Problem solver) , enhance social interaction and encourage learners particiption through sports and games.

In collaboration with partner schools in Uganda and Poland , we had a fruit full learning / engagements with peers of Class 5 , No. 1 Koluszki Primary School in Poland and St Josephin discussing their areas of Passion, interests, extra curricular activities and school subjects. The peers from Poland highlighted more insights on the traditional Artiers, clay- Mad vessels and the art project which continues to equip learners with skills and knowledge.

Third Session of Talk and Help – Uganda and Poland 🇺🇬🇵🇱
The third session of the Talk and Help Programme in Uganda was held with learners from Primary School Publizna SzKola Podstawowa nr 30 w Opolu , Poland, facilitated by teacher Katarzna Sawicka and Mulinda Robert.
The session was vibrant, interesting, and full of excitement for both the Polish and Ugandan learners. It brought together pupils and teacher from Poland and Uganda . Student from Poland presented Poland Anthem song and later they also presented the pictures of different species of animals, mountains, birds, valleys etc .
Learners from Poland also presented the nature of foot ball stadiums and best football players in Poland. There was also presentation on the different kind of food, snacks and drinks consumed in and during Christmas periods.
This interactive session aimed to foster cross-cultural understanding, promote teamwork, and encourage learners to participate , explore and learning new things from partner countries— a true reflection of the spirit of the Talk and Help initiative.

Second Session – Talk$ Help Uganda
The Second session of Talk$ Help in Uganda was insightful and engaging between learners from Publizna Szkola Podstawowa nr 30 w Opolu in Poland and St Josephin Primary School in Uganda, organised by Teacher Katarzna Sawicka and Mulinda Robert.
The session focused on learners understanding and sharing information on Uganda symbolic features forexample flags, Equator, animals, and New bridge . Learners from Uganda presented pictures of crested crane, giraffe, New bridge, market streets and other objects . Key emphasis was how important Uganda features like Equator, flag and New bridge to young people and how it helps them to explore and understand biography of Uganda.
Overall, the session was insightful and inspiring, fostering cross-cultural understanding and strengthening educational collaboration between learners from Poland and Uganda.

Sixth Session of Talk and Help – Uganda and Poland 🇺🇬🇵🇱
The Sixth session of the Talk and Help Programme in Uganda was held with learners from Primary School No. 1 in Koluszki, Poland, facilitated by teacher Anna Spała and Mulinda Robert
The session was very educative, attractive and informative for both the Polish and Ugandan learners. It brought together different classes, pupils of Year 4 from Poland who presented a patriotic songs and poem about a little pole W. Beizy and other important information about Poland as a country.Students from St Josephin Primary School in Uganda presented the key things that symbolize Uganda features like a crested crane , flag , Equator, animals and other symbols. During the session both students were able to understand the weather conditions forexample in Koluszki Poland now it has snow and Uganda dry and rainy seasons. This is significantly for making learners to understand the key information about geography of Poland and Uganda, enhancing their understanding and exploring.
This interactive session aimed to foster cross-cultural understanding, promote , and encourage learners to explore more on biography of countries. — a true reflection of the spirit of the Talk and Help initiative.

First Session – Talk$ Help Uganda
The First session of Talk$ Help in Uganda was quiet helpful and engaging between learners from Publizna Szkola Podstawowa nr 30 w Opolu in Poland and St Josephin Primary School in Uganda, organised by Teacher Katarzna Sawicka and Mulinda Robert.
The session focused on learners understanding and sharing information on hobbies and introduction part of it . Learners from Poland presented painted pictures of Flowers, fruits, symbols of different objects and others showed up their favorite athletes, footballers and Music as part of their hobbies. Key emphasis was how important hobbies to young people and how it helps them to build their careers.
The learners from Uganda also showed their local African music , they learnt some words in Poland which strengthen the relationship and networking.
Overall, the session was insightful and inspiring, fostering cross-cultural understanding and strengthening educational collaboration between learners from Poland and Uganda.

The fifth session of the Talk and Help Programme in Uganda was held with learners from Primary School No. 1 in Koluszki, Poland, facilitated by teacher Anna Spała and Mulinda Robert
The session was very awesome, educative, interesting, full of excitement, and informative for both the Polish and Ugandan learners. It brought together different classes, pupils of Year 2 and 3, and their teachers from Poland. One class presented painted flowers, and another class displayed the road signs symbols and toys for children.This is significantly for making learners understand the key things during their movements and enhancing their creativity.
Learners from Uganda also showcased their dance and musical talent by performing lively songs in Lusoga, adding a rich cultural flavour to the exchange.

Second Session – Talk$ Help Uganda
The second session of Talk$ Help in Uganda was a fruitful and engaging exchange between learners from Poland and Uganda, organised by Teacher Anna Spala and Mr. Mulinda Robert.
The discussion centred on the attitudes of learners towards education, exploring what makes them love their schools, their favourite subjects, and their personal interests. Participants also examined how the school environment influences learners’ performance, motivation, and retention. Key emphasis was placed on the role of co-curricular activities such as sports, games, music, and educational trips, which promote exposure, teamwork, and knowledge sharing among learners.
During the Q&A session, learners from both countries reflected on the challenges faced by students who attend school without breakfast or lunch, in Uganda and how this impacts their concentration, academic performance, and ability to stay in school. The discussion called attention to the importance of supportive school programs that address learners’ welfare as a foundation for better educational outcomes.
Overall, the session was insightful and inspiring, fostering cross-cultural understanding and strengthening educational collaboration between learners from Poland and Uganda.

Young Mothers' Health Initiatives Uganda is a community based -organization focused on bringing holistic interventions in health and development. The aim is to inspire community systems strengthening approaches for enhancement of sustainable responses to health, rights and development needs of adolescent girls and young women.
In order to achieve these goals, we are involved in a number of community interventions including:
· Providing the necessary sexual and reproductive health education currently lacking in schools to allow youth to make informed decisions.
· Training young mothers to become champions in their communities where they teach, inform and counsel other youth about their perspective, their struggles, and how they accessed the support they needed.
· Holding community outreaches on life change and family support facilitated by partners in health systems, business related fields and law providers to encourage dialogue between them and young mothers.
· Involving teenage mothers in counseling and training and teaching them how to grow vegetables in their compound for improved nutrition and income generation.
· Fostering innovative partnerships with existing organizations with similar objectives to create an environment where young mothers can thrive.
