Rayan (11), Angel (11), and Sula (14) have grown up knowing hospitals more than playgrounds. Since early childhood, each of them has been battling a heart condition that demands constant care, daily medication, and regular medical reviews. While other children run freely, they often struggle to catch their breath after the smallest activity. Their lives have been defined not just by illness, but by endurance.
The challenges they face go beyond the physical pain. Many times, they have missed school because of fatigue, hospital visits, or lack of medication. When they do attend, concentration becomes difficult, and keeping up with lessons feels like climbing a mountain. Over time, this has affected their academic progress and confidence. Some classmates don’t understand their condition, leaving them feeling isolated, neglected, and different.
At home, the burden is just as heavy. Their caregivers constantly worry about how to afford life-saving medication that must be taken every single day. On average, each child requires about UGX 250,000–350,000 per month for medication and basic medical care. Altogether, this means nearly UGX 900,000 every month—a cost far beyond what their families can consistently manage. There are days when doses are skipped, not by choice, but because there is simply no money.
The emotional toll is immense. Living with a heart condition brings fear, uncertainty, and stress—not just for the children, but for everyone around them. They often wonder why their lives are so different, why they cannot play like others, or why their future feels so uncertain.
Through all this, Circle of Hope Charity Organization has been a light in their lives. The organization has stepped in to support their medical needs, provide encouragement, and ensure they don’t feel forgotten. They have helped cover part of the medication costs, facilitated hospital visits, and given these children a sense of belonging and hope.
But the need is still great.
Your support can change everything.
A single donation can mean uninterrupted medication for a month. It can mean fewer hospital emergencies, better school attendance, renewed strength, and hope for a healthier future. It can lift the heavy financial burden from their families and remind these children that they are not alone in this fight.
Rayan, Angel, and Sula are fighters. With the right support, they can live fuller, healthier lives and continue their education like every child deserves.
We are humbly asking for your support to raise UGX 900,000 monthly to secure their medication and care. Your kindness today can become their heartbeat of tomorrow.
