Meet Bashir, a 17-year-old boy living with a severe disability. Every single day, Bashir uses only his hands to move from one place to another because he cannot walk on his legs. He crawls on the ground to reach the kitchen, to eat, and even to carry out the simplest daily activities most of us take for granted.
Despite all these challenges, Bashir continues to fight through life with courage and hope. But his condition has made life extremely difficult and painful. Moving on the rough ground has affected his hands and body, and without a wheelchair, he remains limited and dependent on others for mobility.
A wheelchair would completely change Bashir’s life. It would give him freedom to move safely, restore his dignity, help him access education and medical care, and allow him to live with more comfort and confidence.
