It has been a minute since we visited the breathtaking Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa, but the memories and connections built there still keep us deeply inspired!

A massive thank you to Girl Up Initiative Uganda for being phenomenal hosts! True collaboration goes beyond meetings—sharing those trails and laughing together allowed us to build the deep friendships and trust that keep our coalition resilient. We returned home refreshed, inspired, and ready to keep empowering the next generation.

Seeds of hope planted years ago have grown into a forest of inspiration!

​Our hearts overflowed with joy when a special group of our Elohim Alumni came back home for a surprise visit. Raised within our walls from childhood, these incredible young men and women are now thriving, independent, working professionals.

​Seeing them return to mentor our youngest generation is the ultimate reward. Legacy lives!

Learning is more powerful when it's shared.

​As part of the ongoing 2026 AMPLIFY GIRLS Uganda Partners Peer Learning Exchange in Bukedea District, the Elohim Development Association team had the privilege of visiting local schools to see the Adolescent Girls and Boys Champion Programme in active implementation.

​Witnessing these brave students engage so deeply in discussions around human rights, bodily autonomy, and dismantling harmful traditional practices was incredibly inspiring. It reinforces exactly why we do this work: when you give youth a safe space to speak up, they become the primary protectors and leaders of their own communities.

​We are taking home invaluable insights on curriculum delivery, student safety tracking, and community engagement to enrich our own grassroots programs.
