WN Women Support Mission is a registered, women-led Community Based Organization based in Arua City, West Nile, Uganda.
Our Mission:
We build financial resilience for refugee and host women through Climate-Smart Village Savings & Loan Associations.[VSLAs]
What Makes Us Different:
1. Climate-Smart Loans: 30% of VSLA loans fund drought-resistant seeds, solar lights, and fuel-efficient stoves so women earn during dry season.
2. Emergency Protection: 10% of group savings is locked for health/school shocks. Released in 24hrs by member vote to prevent debt and school dropouts.
3. Social Cohesion: 50% refugee, 50% host women in every group. We save together, grow together.
Our Track Record:
Operating since 2024 with full registration. 15 members sustained operations through monthly contributions. Zero defaults. 100% member-led governance.
2026 Goal:
Scale from 15 to 200 women across Arua City + Ayivu. Mobilize Ugx 120M in community savings. Disburse 300 climate-smart loans.
