A $20 Gift Could Save a Life for 21 days in Ebola isolation center

Tonight, a child may go to sleep hungry while their parent remains in Ebola isolation. A mother may sit alone, separated from her family, afraid not only of the disease but of the stigma that may follow her home.

As Ebola cases rise in neighboring Democratic Republic of the Congo, border communities in Uganda remain at risk. Families on both sides share the same culture, relatives, markets, and daily movements. The threat is closer.

Those in isolation often need food, basic supplies, and emotional support. Many children and families are struggling, and available assistance is limited. Global Giving gave the first flexible support, this is teh start but still fell short to cover many demands.
