‎A wonderful and impactful fellowship today at the Rotary Club of Arua Eco City!

‎We were privileged to have Rotarian Kalokwera Gilbert deliver an insightful presentation on “Hygiene and Sanitation in Secondary Schools.”

‎He highlighted key areas including the importance of hygiene, challenges faced in schools, the effects of poor hygiene, good hygiene practices, improvement measures, and the roles of different stakeholders in promoting a healthy school environment.

‎In the same spirit, we were honored to have an official from the National Water and Sewerage Corporation, who is also a Rotarian in the names of Rotarian Jessica who is also a PE in our mother club. She provided valuable guidance and responded to questions raised, emphasizing that good hygiene and sanitation begin with access to clean and safe water. 💧

‎Thank you to everyone who attended both physically and online—your participation made the fellowship truly meaningful.

This week during our Rotary fellowship, we were honored to host a team from Norland – “Wisdom of Health Improves Lives.”

‎Nicholas from the Norland team encouraged members to give greater attention to non-communicable diseases (NCDs). As Rotarians, we continuously emphasize good health and community wellbeing, and this message strongly resonated with our mission.

‎The team shared about their Regenerative Approach, which focuses on addressing the root cause of many health challenges — toxins in the body. According to their presentation, toxins are linked to illnesses such as diabetes and kidney problems. Their approach aims at supporting the body to restore and regenerate naturally.

‎We were also blessed with a guest who expressed interest in joining the Rotary family. It is always inspiring to see individuals willing to embrace the spirit of Service Above Self.

‎In that same spirit, we warmly call upon anyone who wishes to join a family guided by the principles of service, integrity, and community impact not to hesitate to reach out.

‎Join us every Tuesday from 7:00–8:00 PM via Zoom:

‎Rotary Northern Mega Fellowship 2026 – Kiboga District

‎Today, Kiboga District proudly hosted the impactful Rotary Northern Mega Fellowship 2026, bringing together Rotarians, rotaractors and interactors united in fellowship and service.

‎We were privileged to listen to Colonel Nelson Ahebwa from the Uganda People's Defence Force (Office of the Chief Political Commissar), who delivered a powerful presentation on:

‎“Our Corporate Responsibilities in Supporting Security Forces to Ensure Peace and Conflict Resolution.”

‎His address emphasized the shared responsibility of institutions, leaders, and citizens in promoting peace, stability, and effective conflict resolution — principles that align closely with the mission of Rotary International.

‎The fellowship was further honored by the presence of our Guest of Honor, Ruth Nankabirwa, whose inspiring remarks encouraged collaboration, integrity, and continued dedication to Service Above Self.

‎Indeed, a lot was discussed by the keynote speakers, all in line with Rotary’s objectives of promoting peace, empowering communities, supporting youth, and driving sustainable development.

‎Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to the success of this remarkable gathering in Kiboga District. Together, we continue to build stronger communities and lasting impact.

The Rotary Club of Windsor, California recently held inspiring Craft Talks sessions—where stories, journeys, and passions took center stage, & our Rotary Youth Exchange Student to the United States of America featured a story about Uganda's culture & Tourism potentials.

Xavier Dakar, made a presentation about his home county Uganda, "the Pearl of Africa". From the snow-capped Rwenzori Mountains, to Africa's Fresh water lake, Victoria, the source of the nile to Uganda's most loved road side dishes "the Rolex" and other local cuisines. He highlighted unique cultures of over 56 indigenous tribes in Uganda.

As a club, we are proud of Alvin Xavier, who is showcasing our beautiful country and certainly representing us very well in the US.
