A Seedling, A Vision, A Growing Legacy
Few moments capture the spirit of agricultural transformation like this one. On 12 May 2025, Amb. Olara Otunnu, a candidate for the UN Secretary-General position, planted a coffee seedling at Patongo-Kal Aloi, Agago District, as part of efforts to popularise coffee growing in Northern Uganda.
Today, 23 September 2026, that same coffee plant is thriving and already flowering—offering a powerful reminder of what can grow when a seed is planted with purpose. 🌱☕
