๐Ÿ‘ฆ Seven-year-old Yaroslav has congenital malformations of the brain. As a result, he develops much more slowly than his peers.

Unfortunately, Yaroslav is still unable to speak. But thanks to regular therapy, he has started to understand spoken language better, listen more attentively, and follow simple instructions. His motor coordination has also improved significantly โ€” Yaroslav can now walk confidently, although he remains fully dependent on his family in everyday life.

Yaroslav lives with his family in Zaporizhzhia and regularly attends rehabilitation centers. It is thanks to these systematic sessions that he continues to develop new skills and gradually strengthen those he has already acquired. What may seem like a small step to someone else is the result of daily effort and perseverance for Yaroslav. That is why it is so important not to interrupt his rehabilitation.

๐Ÿ“Œ His next rehabilitation course is scheduled for December. The cost is $ 720.

Almost a year ago, Dima was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. This diagnosis changed the life of the boy and his family forever.

Since then, every day has involved constant blood glucose monitoring, insulin injections, counting carbohydrates, and paying close attention to even the slightest changes in Dimaโ€™s condition.

Living with diabetes requires not only insulin, but also regular use of essential medical supplies. Dima needs continuous glucose monitoring sensors, which allow his blood glucose levels to be tracked continuously and help the family respond quickly to dangerous changes. He also needs insulin injection ports, which allow insulin to be administered without a new skin puncture for every injection, reducing the number of painful needle sticks.

To provide Dima with the necessary supplies for the next three months, we need to raise $ 580.

๐Ÿ™ Please support our fundraiser. Your help will allow Dima to monitor his diabetes every day and make his essential treatment a little more comfortable.

Valya Nikolaienko has been suffering from a serious disease since childhood โ€” polycystic kidney disease, which led to chronic kidney failure. In 2023, Valya underwent a kidney transplant, with her mother as the donor.

Due to the long course of her illness, other organs and systems of her body were also affected, including her musculoskeletal system. Over the years, Valyaโ€™s mobility deteriorated, and she developed a limp and severe pain. Doctors diagnosed her with bilateral grade III coxarthrosis.

In May, Valya successfully underwent a left hip replacement, and more recently, a right hip replacement. She is now back home and walking with the help of crutches. Most importantly, she can now take every step without pain.

The hip implant cost $ 1500, which we need to pay by September 10. So far, we have raised only $ 400.

Friends, we need your help to complete this fundraiser and pay for the hip implant on time. Every contribution brings us closer to our goal.

At the age of eight months, Diana suffered severe seizures, after which she lost all the skills she had acquired up to that point. She stopped sitting, standing, holding toys, rolling over, and responding to the world around her.

Today, Diana is 16 years old. She has a genetic form of epilepsy and developmental delays affecting both her mental and physical development. Thanks to her familyโ€™s love and daily efforts, Diana has gradually regained some of the skills she lost. Today, she understands what is said to her, can say a few individual words, eat independently, and walk short distances with support.

Every day, Dianaโ€™s family faces many challenges related to her condition and has to invest a great deal of effort and money to provide her with the necessary care and treatment. Now they are facing another urgent need โ€” Diana needs dental treatment for nine teeth.

Because of her condition, dental treatment can only be performed under general anesthesia. The treatment will cost approximately $ 360 โ€” an amount that is currently very difficult for the family to raise on their own.

We kindly ask you to support Diana! Even a small donation will help her receive the necessary dental treatment in time and relieve her pain.

Special Me: A Place Where Young People Learn to Live Independently

Every day, we do ordinary things without thinking twice: go grocery shopping, cook a meal, or take public transportation. For many people with disabilities, these are skills that can take months or even years to learn.

Recently, we visited Special Me, an inclusive center created by the Ukrainian NGO Kvitka Zhyttia (Flower of Life) for teenagers and young people with disabilities. Here, specialists do much more than provide rehabilitation. They help young people learn to care for themselves, communicate with others, and become as independent as possible in everyday life.

This is exactly what meaningful support should look like: not doing everything for a person, but patiently helping them learn to do it themselves. It is a more demanding approach, but it is the one that builds confidence and self-belief.

Equally important, the center works with parents as well. After years of constant care, many begin to doubt that their children can master new skills. The specialists help them see new possibilities and believe in their children's potential again.

Today, Flower of Life needs financial support to equip its facilities, purchase equipment, and ensure the center can continue its work. If you are able, please support our fundraiser.

We cannot stop the war. We cannot close the skies. We cannot evacuate every child to a safer place. But we can make schools and kindergartens safer and more comfortable.

That is exactly what we have been doing. Over the past two years, together with you, we have helped several schools in Zaporizhzhia. We have renovated bomb shelters, installed proper classroom partitions, improved ventilation and lighting, and provided furniture.

The underground schools you may see in the news take a long time to build, and there still will not be enough space for every child. Meanwhile, thousands of schoolchildren and preschoolers in Zaporizhzhia continue to learn in makeshift basement sheltersโ€”with too little light and fresh air, separated only by curtains instead of walls. That is why it is so important to improve the shelters that are already serving children today.

School No. 77: We need to connect a powerful generator and convert a former kitchen into an additional classroom.

School No. 8: After flooding, three classrooms need to be restored by leveling the floors, removing mold, and repainting the walls. We have already repaired the rainwater drainage system.

School No. 19: The school needs four-tier bunk beds for a new preschool group, as well as proper partitions with doors between classrooms. At the moment, the learning spaces are separated only by curtains, making it difficult for students to concentrate.

The total cost of these three projects exceeds UAH 500,000 (about $12,000 USD). Please, support our campaign. Together, we can give these children a safer and more comfortable place to learn.

Fifteen-year-old Maksym has several complex diagnoses: cerebral palsy (CP), delayed speech and psychomotor development, and epilepsy. Last year, he was also diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma. The treatment was long and challenging, taking a great deal of strength from both Maksym and his family. Fortunately, the disease is now in remission.

Every day begins with taking his medications. After that, his mother gives him a massage and helps him with therapeutic exercises at home. Maksym has never attended school, but twice a week he has lessons with a teacher from the "Dzherelo" Special Boarding School.

Physical exercise is an essential part of his daily rehabilitation. It helps reduce muscle spasticity, maintain mobility, and relieve pain. Maksym exercises according to his abilities: he trains at home using rehabilitation equipment and rides a special adaptive bicycle outdoors. However, due to weakness, he becomes tired very quickly.

To keep his epileptic seizures under control, Maksym must take Keppra every day. He responds well specifically to this manufacturer's medication. To provide him with the medicine he needs, we are launching a fundraiser to raise $ 370.

Please support Maksym. Every donation gives him a chance to learn, develop, and enjoy a happier childhood.

June in figures: your help works every day! ๐Ÿ“Š

In June, the fund almost completely exhausted its resources dedicated to helping children's hospitals. And behind every figure stands more than just statistics โ€” there are children's lives. โค๏ธ

At the beginning of the month, KNP TMO "Zdorova Rodyna" requested help in purchasing the drug Colistin โ€” 30 vials totaling 20 thousand UAH (~$450) for thirteen-year-old Yegor. Due to a congenital defect of the gastrointestinal system, an exacerbation of the disease led to urgent hospitalization and surgical intervention. ๐Ÿฉบ

Soon after, another urgent request was received โ€” to help purchase two vials of the drug Bioven costing 55,757 UAH (~$1,250) for six-year-old Karolina, who is fighting bilateral bacterial pneumonia. ๐Ÿ›ก๏ธ

Urgent help was also needed for one-month-old Artemchyk, who is undergoing treatment in the neonatal post-intensive care and postnatal care department. It was necessary to purchase the antibacterial drug Zavicefta for him โ€” 5 vials totaling nearly 17 thousand UAH (~$380). ๐Ÿผ

In just one month, the fund spent almost 93,000 UAH (~$2,090). But all of this became possible only thanks to you โ€” people who do not pass by, but support, help, and give a chance for recovery. ๐Ÿ™

We sincerely thank everyone for your trust, care, and support.
Together we help where it is needed most. โœจ

๐Ÿ’™ For more than five years, you have been standing by Mykhailyk's side, celebrating every milestone with us.

Mykhailyk is now 8 years old. He has successfully completed the first grade in an inclusive school program, become more open to communicating with others, and enjoys playing with his classmates and his little sister. These achievements are the result of his determination, his family's love, and ongoing rehabilitation.

His greatest challenge, however, is still speech. That is why, at the end of August, Mykhailyk will undergo another rehabilitation course along with essential medical examinations, costing $870. Every therapy session brings him one step closer to being able to communicate more freely with the world.

We kindly ask you to support this fundraiser. Every donation helps Mykhailyk move forward. โค๏ธ

Reporting on our assistance!

A month has already passed since the fateful event in Kateryna's life. Due to a sudden fall, the girl suffered severe leg injuries and damage to three vertebrae. Her condition required urgent surgical intervention. As in similar cases, the foundation turned to its benefactors for an urgent fundraising campaign to fulfill financial obligations to the suppliers of surgical consumables.

Thanks to the prompt work of the surgeons, the first spinal surgery was performed quickly, followed by the leg surgery a few days later. The latter surgical intervention was particularly difficult, as the doctors literally had to piece the bones back together from fragments.

This month has been a difficult ordeal for Kateryna: pain, hardships, and adapting to the new realities of life. Now the girl is already at home, but due to the fractured leg, her mobility remains limited. Kateryna is waiting for the next surgery, which will give her the opportunity to take her first steps towards recovery. Currently, she moves around only with the help of a wheelchair, but even this is already a great achievement. After all, if the spinal surgery had not been performed on time, this might have been impossible.

The foundation paid for the cost of consumables for two operations, spending 62,700 hryvnias. The remainder of the raised funds will be used to purchase necessary medications for the girl. Thanks to your good deeds, Katrusia will definitely return to a full life. Of course, not today and not tomorrow, but this day is already coming closer!

Other seriously ill children also remain in hospitals, requiring urgent treatment and our mutual support. You can help them via the link:
