Today I visited the Jewish cemetery together with Mr. Yura фаtula, who leads an organization dedicated to preserving the memory of soldiers who died in World War I. He also wanted to see the graves of the Jewish soldiers who were buried in the Jewish cemetery. We searched and found the section where these soldiers are buried. Unfortunately, only a few tombstones remain. Others have disappeared. It is also possible that some of the soldiers never had a tombstone, perhaps because their families were poor or lived far away. In any case, I am taking this opportunity to publish the names of these soldiers. If anyone has information about relatives or descendants of soldiers who sacrificed their lives in World War I while serving in the Austro-Hungarian Army, we would be very glad to hear from you. Some of these soldiers died very young and left no family, and it is possible that some of their grandchildren are still living somewhere in the world without knowing where their grandfather is buried or that his tombstone still exists. If you have any information, we would be happy to be in touch and to help.
