💔День матері в полоні: про тих, чиє материнство вкрала війна

Сьогодні ми вітаємо матерів. Говоримо про любов, турботу, жертовність. Але не всі мами можуть обійняти своїх дітей у цей день. Деякі з них — в російському полоні. Вони не бачать своїх дітей місяцями, роками. Вони не чують їхніх голосів, не відчувають тепла маленьких рук. Вони — українські жінки, захисниці, медики, волонтерки, цивільні, яких утримує країна-агресор. Їхнє материнство — під замком. А дехто ще не встиг стати мамою — і полон забирає у них навіть цю можливість.

❤️‍🩹Це не просто імена — це життя, що чекають на визволення:

We are very honored to be able to provide rehabilitation to women who were released from russian prisons last year. Some of them did not see their families, children, and grandchildren for 8 years.

Thank you, dear Soroptimist sisters for your support and care!!!

We continue accompanying these women with psychosocial support and prepare next group to go through holistic recovery.

Together, we will overcome injustice and bring freedom and life to those Ukrainian women who suffer now in occupation and in russian prisons.

SI Uzhhorod Club expressing gratefulness to Szombathely Colonia Savaria SI Club for the support of inclusive school Loza in Uzhhorod. The class changed dramatically with the new furniture for the children

"Empty chair" action in the center of Uzhhorod. Pictures of civilian women who are in prisons in occupied Ukrainian territories. They are being kept in inhuman conditions, no medicine, hygiene, no access to humanitarian organizations, no connections with the families, experiencing tortures and all kinds of violence against them. One of the chairs will remain open...recently one lady died in prison waiting for her liberation.

Remember these women and stand for their freedom!
