Here are some moments from our January 2025 visit to Kremenchuk Vocational College 🇺🇦, where we delivered 11 stove kits to support local families 🔥

While there, we worked with students to teach them how to build the stoves - equipping them with hands-on skills 🛠️ and helping bring warmth and hope to even more homes this winter ❄️

A huge thanks to for allowing us to use one of their vehicles to deliver the stoves safely to Ukraine!

Here is a stove we provided for Daryna and Nikita — delivered and installed in time for winter.

Frequent power and gas outages in their area are common. This stove means they’ll stay warm and have a reliable way to prepare food, even when the grid goes down.

Meet Olga and Vasil.

In February 2022, they fled their home in Moshcun during the invasion of Ukraine. When they returned months later, their house, like most in the town, had been destroyed. The streets around them, including the area surrounding their home, was littered with shell remnants and the tragic aftermath of the fighting, including bodies left behind.

They had lost everything they spent a lifetime building, including photo albums filled with memories of their youth and of their two sons, who they now rarely see due to the war.

We met Olga and Vasil in October 2024. With support from local charities and the UNHCR, they’ve rebuilt their home with new walls, a roof, and windows. We installed one of our stoves to keep them warm through the winter, when temperatures can drop below -20°C and frequent gas/power outages leave homes without heating. Unlike gas/electric heating, this stove will keep working—no matter what.

🔥 Bringing Warmth to Moshchun 🔥

We’re proud to share a picture of one of the stoves we’ve installed recently in Moshchun, Kyiv Oblast. This stove isn’t just about heating—it’s about giving a family the ability to stay warm and cook meals during a harsh winter.

This is what your donations make possible. Each stove we deliver transforms a house into a home again. But we need your help to keep going.

Every contribution brings us closer to funding our next trip and installing more stoves for families who need them.

As winter tightens its grip, the devastating impact of the latest Russian airstrikes on Ukraine cannot be overstated. The Guardian reports that these attacks are pushing the country’s already fragile power grid to the brink of catastrophic failure. Millions of people are at risk of facing freezing temperatures without sufficient heating, lighting, or power to sustain daily life.

At Heat for Humanity our work focuses on designing, manufacturing, and installing wood-burning stoves in disaster-hit areas like Ukraine, where the lack of reliable heating infrastructure puts countless lives in danger.

These stoves provide immediate, sustainable warmth for families facing unimaginable hardship in extreme conditions. But we can’t do it alone.

This is a call to action for individuals, organisations, and donors who share our mission of delivering life-saving solutions to those in need. Together, we can make a tangible difference during one of the toughest winters Ukraine has faced.

Let’s stand with Ukraine. Let’s bring heat where it’s most desperately needed.
