SACRED MYSTERIES IN CERAMICS
On April 10, 2026, at 11:00 AM, the official opening of the temporary thematic exhibition "Sacred Mysteries in Ceramics" took place at the State Historical and Cultural Reserve “Mezhybizh”. The project is dedicated to celebrating Orthodox Easter and presents the works of Ukrainian pottery schools through the prism of Christian symbolism.
The exhibition, located in the 4th Exhibition Hall, presents the phenomenon of the sacralization of everyday life. It demonstrates how common clay, in the hands of pottery masters of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, was transformed into an attribute of deep faith.
The central image of the exhibition is the Cross – a symbol of the victory of life over death. It adorns bowls and tiles, harmoniously integrated with traditional floral and geometric ornaments.
The core of the exhibition is the private collection of Petro Radzikh, a local historian and ceramicist who has been defending Ukraine since the autumn of 2022 as a member of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The exhibition aims to reveal the diversity of Ukrainian artisanal ceramics and highlight the importance of preserving cultural heritage even in times of war.

Night of Fortresses 2025

On May 9, 2025, the eco-action "Green Shield of Medzhybizh Castle" took place near Medzhybizh Castle as part of the "Night of Fortresses." 200 children actively participated in the event. Throughout the day, five thematic excursions and a master class were held, and various flowers and grass were planted on the slope of the moat opposite the castle.
