A little bit about our news. As before, I distribute monthly food parcels for our families in need. Despite the cold and frequent power outages, all the children are happy, and no one is sick. We had a harsh winter. The constant power outages made life difficult for us. But spring is already here. Although there's still snow and it's cold at night, the streams are running during the day, and soon all the ice and snow will melt.
I ask for your prayers: I haven't had water in my house for a month. The water in the pipes is likely frozen, but there could also be a problem with the pump. We won't know until it gets warmer. The worst-case scenario for us is if the water drains from the well... We're currently buying drinking water, and for our utility needs, we collect water from melting snow. In any case, we're better off than the soldiers at the front. Since there's no running water in the house, we can't light the boiler. We heat the rooms with electric radiators when the power is on, and when it's off, we turn on the generator. Unfortunately, not all of my flowers survived the cold...

I'd like to ask you to pray for Grandma Artema. She went to Kyiv for surgery. She was diagnosed with a brain tumor. I'm praying for her and for her grandson Artema.
We hope for warm weather soon, for running water in the house, and most importantly, for the war to end!
Трохи про наші новини. Як і раніше, я розводжу щомісяця продукти для наших кризових сімей. Незважаючи на холод та часті відключення електрики, всі діти радісні, ніхто не хворіє. Ми мали сувору зиму. Постійні відключення електрики погіршували наше життя. Але вже навесні. хоча ще лежить сніг і ночами холодно, але вдень біжать струмки, скоро розтане весь лід і сніг.
Я прошу вашої молитви: у моїй хаті немає води вже місяць. Вода в трубах, мабуть, замерзла, але може бути проблема з насосом. Ми не дізнаємось, доки не потеплішає. Найгірший варіант для нас буде, якщо вода пішла з тієї порожнини, куди дістає наша свердловина... Зараз ми купуємо питну воду, а для технічних потреб набираємо воду з снігу, що тане. У будь-якому разі нам легше, ніж солдатам на фронті. Оскільки в будинку немає води, ми не можемо розтопити котел. Ми опалюємо кімнати електричними радіаторами, коли є електрика, а коли її немає, вмикаємо генератор. На жаль, не всі мої квіти пережили холод...

Я хотів би попросити вас помолитися за бабусю Артему. Вона їздила до Києва на операцію. У неї виявили пухлину головного мозку. Я молюся за неї та за долю її онука Артема.
Ми сподіваємося, що незабаром настане тепла погода, що в будинку буде вода, і найголовніше, щоб війна закінчилася!

Настали довгоочікувані канікули! Цього року вперше за кілька останніх років Різдво та Новий рік ми святкували у морози. Ішов сніг, замерзала наша річка Дніпро. Тепер можна кататися на ковзанах, на лижах, на санках, грати у сніжки.
Незважаючи на те, що йде війна, діти потребують дитинства. Ми дуже вдячні нашим воїнам, які захищають нашу країну від ворогів.
Наш Ілля, великий любитель риболовлі, дуже довго чекав коли замерзне крига і він стане такий товстий, щоб було безпечно йти на підлідну рибалку. дуже приємно після ігор на морозі попити чай у добрій компанії або пограти у настільну гру. Нехай канікули тривають довше!
The long-awaited holidays have arrived! This year, for the first time in several years, we celebrated Christmas and New Year's in freezing temperatures. It snowed, our Dnieper River froze over, and now we can go ice skating, skiing, sledding, and have snowball fights.
Despite the war, children need their childhood. We are very grateful to our soldiers who defend our country from enemies.
Our Ilya, a big fishing enthusiast, waited a long time for the ice to freeze and become thick enough to safely go ice fishing. After playing in the cold, it's so nice to have tea in good company or play a board game. May the holidays last longer!

З Різдвом, дорогі друзі!!
ми продовжуємо служити українським дітям із кризових сімей! у цей важкий час війни, наші діти потребують того, щоб вони мали дитинство, свята. наша особлива подяка нашим воїнам, які захищають нас. Святвечір ми провели у темряві, тільки свічки та рання зірка за вікном осяяли наш стіл. пісня "Тиха ніч" як завжди вела нас у ті далекі чудові часи, коли Спаситель прийшов на нашу землю.

We continue to serve Ukrainian children from families in crisis! In this difficult time of war, our children need a childhood and holidays. Our special gratitude goes out to our soldiers who protect us. We spent Christmas Eve in the dark, only candles and the early star outside the window illuminating our table. The song "Silent Night" as always transported us to those distant, wondrous times when the Savior came to our land.

Швидко пролетіла перша чверть. багато знань втрачено через повітряну тривогу. нічого не вивчиш, якщо сидиш багато часу в укритті. ми намагаємося в нашому денному центрі надолужити втрачені знання. я, як і раніше, займаюся з п'ятикласниками та восьмикласниками алгеброю та геометрією. звичайно, наздогнати програму важко, але діти намагаються. Так само як і раніше щомісяця я розводжу продуктові пакети нашим дорогим діткам. У цей важкий час - це велике благословення для них. дякую всім хто допомагає нам допомагати.

The first quarter flew by. A lot of knowledge was lost because of the air raid scam. You can't learn anything if you spend a lot of time in a shelter. We're trying to catch up at our day center. I, as before, teach algebra and geometry to fifth-graders and eighth-graders. Of course, it's hard to catch up, but the kids are trying. I also, as before, distribute food packages to our dear children every month. During these difficult times, this is a great blessing for them. Thank you to everyone who helps us.
