We are pleased to invite you to a a breakfast discussion on the evolution of robotic systems and CUAS on Ukrainian battlefield in Paris organised by “Defence Robotics UA” Foundation, Eastern Circles, Uncrewed, featuring officers and drone operators from the Separate Assault Battalion “Da Vinci Wolves” and the 59th Brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine - units at the forefront of deploying unmanned and robotic systems in active combat.
The Ukrainian Armed Forces today represent the most combat-tested and rapidly adaptive military environment in Europe, offering practical insights of direct relevance to defence policy, industry, and civil society.

The discussions will focus on key topics directly relevant to defence, security, and technological innovation, including:
● lessons Ukraine’s experience offers for French / European defence and deterrence;
● real-world use of unmanned systems under combat conditions;
● rapid technological adaptation driven by battlefield necessity;
● the role of civil society in sustaining military innovation during wartime.
Speakers: unit commanders, combat pilots and founders Defence Robotics UA foundation, local experts.
The moderation will be ensured by François Jullien, Director of Uncrewed, and Anastasiya Shapochkina, Director of Eastern Circles.
An open Q&A session will follow, allowing both media representatives and the wider audience to engage directly with the speakers.
