🇺🇦 Міжнародний симпозіум у Львові
26 листопада 2024 року в Залі Захарієвича головного корпусу Національного університету Львівська політехніка відбувся симпозіум «Співпраця неурядових організацій із місцевими органами влади для адвокації питань українських воєнних мігрантів у країнах Вишеградської групи», організатором якого був Міжнародний інститут освіти, культури та зв’язків з діаспорою Львівської політехніки (МІОК). Захід відбувався у змішаному форматі (офлайн та онлайн) із синхронним перекладом англійською мовою. До участі у симпозіумі зареєструвалося 150 осіб із 18 країн світу.
Як керівниця проєкту Iryna Kluchkovska окреслила актуальність проведення дослідження у зв’язку зі змінами, які відбулися у світі внаслідок широкомасштабної війни, яку розпочала росія проти України 24 лютого 2022 року, що призвело до величезних міграційних потоків. Вона нагадала присутнім, що Польща, Чехія та Словаччина, які першими взяли на себе удар міграційних хвиль мільйонів людей з України, мобілізували весь свій внутрішній ресурс для допомоги і подолання проблем українських мігрантів. Промовиця відзначила швидку реакцію на події, зміни у законодавстві та прийняття нових законів щодо статусу вимушених мігрантів, підкресливши, що важливим чинником успішної імплементації таких ініціатив у цих країнах стала плідна взаємодія влади з громадянським суспільством.
Співавтори дослідження Оксана П'ятковська, Dolinska Olya та Volodymyr Hnatiuk представили результати проєкту, подані в аналітичному звіті. Зокрема було висвітлено дані дослідження динаміки і структури вимушеної міграції з України до Польщі, Чехії та Словаччини внаслідок повномасштабного вторгнення росії, аналіз політики цих країн щодо воєнних мігрантів і діяльність громадянського суспільства у допомозі їм. Також співавтори навели приклади найкращих практик взаємодії неурядових організацій з органами місцевого самоврядування для розв’язання питань українських воєнних мігрантів у кожній із країн, охоплених проєктом.
У симпозіумі взяли участь партнери проєкту з країн Вишеградської групи - Bohdan Rajčinec (Чехія), Victor Bandurchin, Павло Богдан (обидва - Словаччина) та Галина Андрушков (Польща).
З вітальним словом у заході взяли участь Наталія Чухрай, Катерина Терек, Мартін Крупа, Христина Молдавчук, Oksana Yurynets/Оксана Юринець, Iryna Tymechko, Наталя Галецька, Галина Фесюк та Андрій Медвідь.
Підсумовуючи презентацію, Iryna Kluchkovska відзначила, що це фундаментальне дослідження було реалізовано за підтримки International Visegrad Fund у партнерстві ГО «МІОК» з ГО «Українська ініціатива в Чеській Республіці» Ukrajinská iniciativa v ČR, ГО «Фундація Uniters» Uniters (Польща), ГО «Союз русинів-українців Словацької Республіки» Rusíni-Ukrajinci SR, подякувала партнерам за інформаційну допомогу та сприяння і запросила до слова керівників партнерських організацій.

🇬🇧 The International Symposium in Lviv
On November 26, 2024, a symposium “Cooperation of NGOs with local authorities in advocacy Ukrainian refugees’ issues in the Visegrad Countries” was held in the Zakhariyevych Hall of the main building of Lviv Polytechnic National University, organized by the International Institute for Education, Culture and Diaspora Relations of Lviv Polytechnic (IIEC). The event was held in a hybrid format (offline and online) with simultaneous translation into English. A total of 150 people from 18 countries registered to participate in the symposium.
As the project manager, Iryna Kluchkovska outlined the relevance of the study in connection with the changes that have taken place in the world as a result of the large-scale war that russia launched against Ukraine on February 24, 2022, which led to huge migration flows. She reminded the audience that Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia, which were the first to take the brunt of the migration waves of millions of people from Ukraine, mobilized all their internal resources to help and overcome the problems of Ukrainian migrants. The speaker noted the rapid response to events, changes in legislation and the adoption of new laws on the status of forced migrants, emphasizing that an important factor in the successful implementation of such initiatives in these countries was the fruitful interaction of the authorities with civil society.
The co-authors of the study, Oksana Pyatkovska, Olha Dolinska, and Volodymyr Hnatiuk, presented the results of the project in an analytical report – policy paper. In particular, they highlighted the research data on the dynamics and structure of forced migration from Ukraine to Poland, the Czech Republic, and Slovakia as a result of russia’s full-scale invasion, an analysis of these countries’ policies toward war migrants, and civil society’s efforts to help them. The co-authors also provided examples of best practices of interaction between NGOs and local authorities to address the issues of Ukrainian war migrants in each of the countries covered by the project.
The symposium was attended by partners from the Visegrad countries - Bohdan Rajčinec (Czech Republic), Victor Bandurchin, Pavel Bogdan (both from Slovakia), and Halyna Andruszkow (Poland).
Natalia Chukhrai, Kateryna Terek, Martin Krupa, Khrystyna Moldavchuk, Oksana Yurynets, Iryna Tymechko, Natalia Galetska, Halyna Fesiuk, and Andriy Medvid delivered welcoming remarks at the symposium.
Summarizing the presentation, Iryna Kluchkovska noted that this fundamental research was implemented with the support of the International Visegrad Fund in partnership of the NGO “IIEC” with the NGO “Ukrainian Initiative in the Czech Republic”, NGO “Uniters Foundation” (Poland), NGO “Union of Ruthenians-Ukrainians of the Slovak Republic”, thanked the partners for their information assistance and support and invited the heads of partner organizations to speak.
