UkraineMUN is a non-governmental organisation run by students which aims at simulating the workings of the United Nations. UkraineMUN is going to be the first international MUN conference of such format and magnitude (expecting 200 participants from around the world) in Ukraine. The conference is scheduled for 5-9 April 2017. The team decided upon Lviv as the location of the UkraineMUN. The UNESCO
heritage city and jewel of East Europe, Lviv, is one of the major cosmopolitan cities in Ukraine. With its cultural diversity, Austrian, Italian and Slavic architecture and charming cosiness, Lviv has become the cultural capital of the country and the prime tourists’ destination in Ukraine. It has attracted a great number of businesses and has been hosting various national and international festivals, events and conferences. Moreover, the city provides for optimal facilities, venues, and logistical assistance, and is a great place to familiarise oneself with Ukrainian culture, customs and cuisine.
