TFY SUPPORTERS:

It is with a heavy heart I announce Task Force Yankee (TFY) is closing its doors. TFY will remain alive on paper, but in a non operational status.

Over the last 17 months, TFY has helped over 300 refugees and their families, moved countless tons of humanitarian aid, medically trained over 15,000 Ukrainian soldiers and first responders in Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC), and many other activities helping the people of war torn Ukraine. Of this, we should all be very proud!

Unfortunately, due to the misappropriation and withholding of funds by TFY’s Lviv Chief of Operations and the subsequent damage to TFY’s reputation, effecting future donations and volunteer recruitment, the TFY Board of Directors have decided to cease all fundraising and all operations in Ukraine.

We cannot thank all of you enough for your past support. We all have a lot to be proud of! Please do not let this be the end of your support for the Ukrainian people as they are in a greater need now that ever before. I ask that you find a worth while organization to continue your support for the Ukrainian people.

If TFY decides to reinitiate it’s humanitarian aid activities in the future, we will let you know here.

Again, thank you for all your hard work and support! You have truly made a difference in countless lives.

Task Force Yankee was instrumental in organising a big event last Sunday in Kahla m Germany.

Around 100 Ukrainian people found a place in Kahla since the war started. On May 21st, they said thank you to those who helped.

A buffet with typical Ukrainian dishes and a cultural programme provided a great afternoon.

Yesterday in Erfurt (Thuringia, Germany) volunteers met to talk about their experiences in helping Ukraine.

It was a very interesting evening, meeting very motivated people.

Easter 2023. Not only in Ukraine, but also in countries where Ukrainian people found shelter, support and friendship.

Today, TFY staff organized the Easter event in Germany. With a special surprise for the children. A great afternoon, which allowed people to bound, to talk, to celebrate.

A big part of TFY’s mission is to provide Tactical Combat Casualty Care training to civilians and soldiers who live in the Eastern regions of Ukraine and on the frontlines of the conflict.

Our instructors pass down life-saving knowledge that can be utilized by these communities.
