Last night was a special evening for our Rotary Club as we officially welcomed our newest member, Mathias Øgendal, from Denmark 🇩🇰 Mathias has done so much to support Ukraine, so we're thrilled to have him join our Rotary family!

We were also very pleased to welcome back our former president, James Joeriman. James has been actively sharing the story of our club’s activities and impact while in the United States 🇺🇸
, helping to strengthen international connections and raise awareness of the work being done here in Ukraine 🇺🇦

Yesterday evening, we had the pleasure of welcoming two greats guests to our weekly Rotary Club meeting!

First, Yurii Nykolyshyn from Apriori Publishing House (https://apriori-publishing.com/) shared insights into an exciting upcoming publication celebrating Ukrainian art (Україна. Краса і Мудрість)

We also heard from Benjamin, an American volunteer working in Ukraine, who spoke about the innovative workshop he has established to develop practical energy solutions supporting both soldiers and civilians during these challenging times. His work is a powerful example of initiative and impact in action.

A gift that tells a story ❤️🚒

We are deeply grateful for this beautiful and meaningful present — a handcrafted clock shaped like Ukraine, featuring the fire truck that was donated to support communities in need. It is more than just a clock — it is a symbol of solidarity, partnership, and real impact.

Special thanks to Club Dnipro City and the Pishchanska community of the Dnipro region — this gift truly reflects the strong bond between us.

The fire truck itself was generously donated to the Pishchanska community by our dear friends Freunde Helfen Konvoi - Team Husum — thank you for your continued commitment and support.

We were especially honoured to present this clock to our dear friend and Rotary Club Lviv International member,Jurgis Prasse, on Saturday during the celebration of our Club’s 10th anniversary. Jurgis is our biggest firefighter expert and a driving force behind many of these life-saving initiatives.

Thank you to everyone who made this possible — your support continues to save lives and inspire action. 🙏

A big THANK YOU to everyone who joined us yesterday to celebrate our 10th Anniversary and wished us a “Happy Birthday”!

We were honoured to receive greetings from Максим Козицький, Governor of Lviv Region, and Mayor Андрій Садовий, and to welcome many international guests from the USA, Norway, Denmark, the Netherlands, the UK, Austria, and Poland.

Together, we reflected on the meaningful projects our Club has delivered over the past decade, supporting communities, building partnerships, and making a real difference, and looked ahead with ambition and inspiration to the future.

This milestone would not have been possible without the dedication of our fellow Rotarians, partners, and friends. Thank you for being part of our journey, and for living up to the Rotary standard of Service above Self.

With your continued support, we’re confident the next decade will be even stronger.
