Ukrainian Ministries Summer Camp 2013.Camp 1: June 30th - July 13th (80 children)Camp 2: July 21st - August 3rd (80 children)Mini Camp at Invalid Orphanage: July 16th - July 18

Why it is important for everybody: every summer around 200 (used to be up to 1200) children and youth has a chance to hear the Word of God, share Christ and just get healthier for FREE. These camps host orphans, children from poor and large families, children of the coal miners, church kids and youth from all over the region, oblast and even the world. The camp is not just planting a seed in each

heart, but is raising the leaders. Now we have many believers, who believed and grew in Lord in camps. One of them is a missioner in China! Camp program: Every morning starts with gathering all the dorms and workers at the flag pole, where camp leaders announce the news, give the word of wisdom for each day, and pray for the camp. Then all the visiting mission teams have a chance to teach kids the Word of God on the morning Bible classes (1-2 teachers for each dorm (20-25children) on the regular basis. During the day missioners have a chance to communicate to children, answer their questions and just play different games with them. In the evening we have a preaching time, all the dorms are divided into two groups according to the kids' age. And after the sermon children have a chance to show their talents in the evening program. Every Sunday we have a real Church, which would gather people under the roof of our "Green stage". Camp is a very neat experience for the orphan kids, because they have a chance not only to have fun, but to learn some life skills at the same time. They do not get that kind of knowledge at the orphanages and boarding schools. The orphan ministry is one of the most important for us, that's why it doesn't stop with the camp, but it starts with them (See our other projects). Why it is SO important for me: I was raised at the camp myself. I have heard about God, believed in His existence, but never let Him rule my life until my second year at camp. I thank David McCorimick for his help in leading me to faith and Shane Duke, who became my spiritual father. I'm still falling a lot, but now I have the Power to stand up and "keep pressing on". I'm sure every worker at camp has his own story and person to thank, but we all need to thank God for His work.
