The film introduces Ukrainian audiences to modern-day Lebanon — the way we all know and love it.

The video was first presented on the stage of the Kyiv Operetta Theatre during a concert dedicated to Lebanon’s Independence Day on November 24, 2025. It became part of a cultural event that brought together Ukrainian and Lebanese communities

📚✨ У Києві відбулася презентація арабськомовного видання легендарної збірки поезій “Кобзар” українського поета Тараса Шевченка.

Організаторами заходу виступили GDIP Media Center та Дипломатична академія України при МЗС України.

📍Партнером події став Ліванський культурно-інформаційний центр.

З ключовими моментами на події виступили директор Дипломатичної академії України Ігор Осташ, ліванський перекладач і журналіст Імадеддін Реф, голова Громади українців Лівану Ірина Висота, т.в.о. ректора, проректорка з науково-педагогічної роботи КНЛУ Наталія Стефанова та президентка Ліванського культурно-інформаційного центру Наталія Бодак.

The event was moderated by Andriana Bila.

🎶 Представниця України на Євробаченні 2026 LELÉKA на події з нагоди 155-річчя від дня народження Лесі Українки.

25 лютого у стінах Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine відбулася презентація першого перекладу драми-феєрії «Лісова пісня» арабською мовою — видання, що відкриває нові можливості для популяризації української класики в арабському світі та розвитку міжкультурного діалогу.

✨ Особливою частиною програми став виступ LELÉKA — артистки, яка цього року представляє Україну на Євробаченні 2026. Її участь додала події сучасного культурного звучання та стала символічним поєднанням класики й сьогодення, традиції та нової української музики.

🎶 Ukraine’s representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2026, LELÉKA, took part in the event marking the 155th anniversary of the birth of Lesya Ukrainka.

On February 25, within the walls of the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine, the presentation of the first Arabic-language translation of the drama-fantasy “The Forest Song” took place — a publication that opens new opportunities for promoting Ukrainian classical literature in the Arab world and fostering intercultural dialogue.

✨ A special highlight of the program was the performance by LELÉKA, the artist representing Ukraine at Eurovision 2026 this year. Her participation added a contemporary cultural dimension to the event and became a symbolic bridge between classical heritage and modernity, tradition and new Ukrainian music.

⚡️ The event was partnered by the Lebanese Cultural and Information Center, which consistently supports initiatives aimed at strengthening Ukrainian-Arab cultural dialogue.

✨ 25 лютого, з нагоди 155-річчя від дня народження Лесі Українки, у Дипломатична академія України відбулася важлива культурно-дипломатична подія - презентація першого перекладу драми-феєрії «Лісова пісня» арабською мовою.

Президентка Ліванського культурно-інформаційного Центру Наталія Бодак привітала всіх учасників події, розповіла про особливості культурно-просвітницької діяльності Центру та наголосила на тому, що видавничі проєкти є важливою частиною його роботи. 📖

"Окремим напрямом нашої діяльності є видавничі проєкти. Серед них - «Пророк», «Мазепинське Євангеліє», а нині ми працюємо над двомовним виданням «Лісової пісні» Лесі Українки. Наша мета - створювати якісні двомовні книги та передавати їх до університетів України й Лівану, щоб молодь обох країн мала можливість глибше пізнавати культуру одна одної", - зазначила Наталія Бодак.✨

✨ On February 25, marking the 155th anniversary of the birth of Lesya Ukrainka, an important cultural and diplomatic event took place at the Diplomatic Academy of Ukraine - the presentation of the first-ever Arabic translation of the drama-fantasy “Forest Song”.

The President of the Lebanese Cultural and Information Center, Nataliia Bodak, welcomed the participants of the event, spoke about the Center’s cultural and educational activities, and emphasized that publishing projects are a key part of its mission.

📖 “A separate focus of our work is publishing projects. Among them are ‘The Prophet’, ‘The Mazepa Gospel’, and currently we are working on a bilingual edition of ‘Forest Song’ by Lesya Ukrainka. Our goal is to create high-quality bilingual books and donate them to universities in Ukraine and Lebanon, so that young people in both countries can gain a deeper understanding of each other’s cultures,” Nataliia Bodak noted.
