ГО Міжнародний інститут культурної дипломатії (МІКД) об’єднує фахівців, які мають значний досвід успішної реалізації проєктів у культурно-мистецькій, музейній та медійній сферах, культурних та громадських діячів, проактивних громадян як з України, так і з-за кордону.
Міжнародний інститут культурної дипломатії розпочав свою діяльність де-юре у 2017, а де-факто – набагато раніше: приват
на культурна ініціатива київської галереї «КалитаАртКлуб» разом з колегами, що представляють різні галузі/ ланки культури та різні (як державні , так і приватні) культурні установи, кілька років поспіль об'єднували зусилля задля реалізації спільних культурних подій.
Міжнародний інститут культурної дипломатії є органічною складовою громадянського суспільства та його системної роботи з розбудови України як незалежної демократичної держави.
В основі діяльності МІКД є усвідомлення того, що розвинена культура – це основа державності, запорука її успіху як всередині країни, так і на міжнародній сцені, а спільний світовий культурний простір - це вектор, в якому має розвиватися українська культура.
Ми також вважаємо своїм обов’язком/завданням розповідати про здобутки української культури, які не “лежать на поверхні” і до яких з тих чи інших причин не дотичні широкі верстви населення, щоб закріплювати у свідомості українців певний базис вітчизняної культури. Культурна дипломатія починається зсередини країни.
Фінансування діяльності МІКД відбувається за рахунок грантів, благодійних пожертв, внесків корпоративних та приватних спонсорів.
МІКД має досвід співпраці з МЗС та Міністерством культури України, іноземними дипломатичними місіями в Україні та українськими місіями закордоном, українськими та іноземними ГО, бізнесом, благодійними фондами та приватними особами. The Cultural Diplomacy International Institute (CDI) NGO brings together professionals with significant experience in implementing successful projects in the cultural, artistic, museum and media spheres, cultural and public figures, and proactive citizens from Ukraine and abroad. The Cultural Diplomacy International Institute began its activities de jure in 2017, but de facto much earlier: a private cultural initiative of the Kyiv gallery “KalitaArtClub” together with colleagues representing various branches/niches of culture and different (both public and private) cultural institutions, for several years in a row cooperated to implement common
cultural events. Such cooperation clearly demonstrated the social rather than commercial orientation of the organized projects and in June 2017 received the formal structure - NGO CDI. The Cultural Diplomacy International Institute is an organic component of the civil society and its systematic work in developing Ukraine as an independent democracy. At the heart of CDII work is the comprehension that the developed culture is the basis of statehood, the key to its success both inside and outside the country, and the common world cultural space is a vector in which Ukrainian culture should develop. We also consider as our duty / task to tell about achievements of the Ukrainian culture, which do not "lie on the surface" and which for one reason or another are not approached by the broader population in order to fix in the minds of Ukrainians a certain basis of the national culture. CDI activities are financed by grants, charitable donations, contributions from the corporate and private sponsors. CDI has the experience of cooperation with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Ukrainian Institute and the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine, foreign diplomatic missions in Ukraine and Ukrainian missions abroad, Ukrainian and foreign NGOs, business, charitable foundations and individuals.
