IWCK - Kyiv The International Women's Club of Kyiv brings together women and men from all over the world through charitable, cultural, and social activities.

Join our charity campaign until the 15th of January and help us raise funds to support those in need! IWCK was founded in 1992 by a small group of expatriate women in the newly independent Ukraine. IWCK is registered as a charity organization in Ukraine, as all our financial activities are directed at raising money for charities. Our club brings together women and men (!) from all over the world t

o take part in a range of charitable, cultural and social activities. We have over 350 members from different backgrounds, meeting regularly to improve their knowledge of Ukraine, and to help the less fortunate.

Merry Christmas and happy holidays! IWCK sponsored gifts for residents at the State Retirement home in Lesova district in Kyiv. Our friends in the NGO Sant Egidio organized a festive lunch for the residents on the 24th of December. IWCK Members and friends were welcome to come and help set up the lunch room and chat with residents.

The results of the elections to the Steering Committee will be announced at the General Assembly. The IWCK Treasurer and our Board of Overseers will make reports.

Yuliya’s work has been translated into over 30 languages and published globally. Her collection, The God of Freedom (2021), was translated into English by Olena Jennings. The author was published in the U.S. by Arrowsmith Press. The Kyiv Independent listed her collection among the 10 best Ukraine-related books of 2024. In 2023, Yuliya paused her 20-year career in IT and international business to dedicate herself to cultural advocacy for Ukraine. She is a member of PEN Ukraine.

On 24th of December, Sant'Egidio - a traditional partner for IWCK festive projects - organised a wonderful Christmas ⛄️ lunch for residence at the State Retirement Home in Lesnoi District of Kyiv. IWCK contributed to the cost of the lunch. It was a happy time for all. 🎉 The extra special thing about Sant’Egidio is how they get all sorts of people to help. For example, the servers for the lunch were IDPs!
