The British Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (BUCC) brings together British, Ukrainians and other companies and individuals wishing to focus on the Ukrainian market, and offers assistance to Ukrainian companies and individuals wishing to establish business, relationships in the United Kingdom. The BUCC was originally established in 1997, and since then it has broadened its approach to promote busines
s internationally with Ukraine and the UK. The Chamber is registered in the UK and carries out its activities principally in Kyiv and London. It draws its membership from Ukrainian, British and international companies, organisations and individuals. Our meetings provide a unique opportunity for businesses to develop their understanding on business, commercial, trade and cultural issues between Ukraine, the UK and other countries. In particular, we assist companies wishing to access finance and insurance in the City of London, the European financial center. The benefits of BUCC membership include:
1. Knowledge and Information: The Chamber offers in-depth knowledge of Ukrainian business, commercial, trade and cultural issues and how to establish and develop business successfully in Ukraine. The Chamber also has an extensive range of experience and expertise within its membership which can be used to access business opportunities in the UK and abroad.
2. Events and Networking:
(1) To establish and maintain valuable business contacts, through regularly hold business and social events, including
(a) Our monthly networking events (usually held on the last Wednesday of each month, except for April (held on the third Wednesday) and December (held on the second Wednesday)); and
(b) Our major dinners in Donetsk, Kyiv, Lviv, London and Odesa, including the annual Garden Party at the British Ambassador’s residence in Kyiv each September. (2) Conferences and seminars with selected speakers and VIPs from Ukraine and abroad.
