🟥 Ukrainian Naval Drones Shock NATO Exercise

During the NATO naval exercise REPMUS / Dynamic Messenger 2025 off the coast of Portugal, Ukrainian forces leading the opposing team delivered a surprising result.

A multinational naval group commanded by Ukrainian officers used Magura V7 naval drones to pe*****te the defenses of NATO’s “Blue” forces and successfully strike multiple targets, including at least one allied frigate.

In one scenario, the simulated attack hit the frigate so many times it would likely have sunk in a real combat situation.

The exercise included five scenarios involving convoy defense, port protection, and convoy attacks. In every scenario, the “Red” force led by Ukrainian planners defeated the defending NATO group.

According to a Ukrainian source involved in the exercise:

“The problem wasn’t that they couldn’t stop us — they didn’t even see us.”

The moment became even more surreal when, five minutes after the simulated strike, the NATO side reportedly asked in the exercise chat:

“So, are you going to attack us now or not?”

A NATO spokesperson later confirmed to Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung that this was the first time in NATO history that the Ukrainian Navy led and coordinated the opposing force during the exercise, calling it a historic milestone and recognition of Ukraine’s growing expertise in modern naval warfare.

The Reserve Organization of America honors and mourns the three additional U.S. Army Reserve Soldiers killed earlier this month, in an unmanned aircraft attack at the Port of Shuaiba, Kuwait. Assigned to the 103rd Expeditionary Sustainment Command, they were deployed in support of Operation Epic Fury. We extend our deepest condolences to their families, friends, and fellow Soldiers. We honor their sacrifice and remain steadfast in our support of the Reserve Component community they proudly served.

Починаючи з 4 лютого 2026 року сержант Іван Тимочко обіймає посаду генерального секретаря Української асоціації офіцерів резерву і ветеранів .
Він буде займатись як загальними організаційними питаннями нашої діяльності, так і, зокрема, реалізацією треку сержантського резерву та низку проєктів з національними асоціаціями та усіма Об'єнаними конфедераціями членів Альянсу. У тому числі - набуття членства України в Об'єднаній конфедерації сержантів резерву країн НАТО CISOR.
До саміту НАТО в Анкарі у липні 2026 року ми маємо дати в руки керівництву України і Збройних Сил ті самі карти інтеграції та взаємосумісності з країнами НАТО по резервах, на яких наголошують наші партнери, і яких ми так потребуємо для знищення російських агресорів.

Foredrag for HPRD-medlemmer: Læring fra krigen i Ukraine

Krigen i Ukraine har givet os en stejl indlæringskurve. Dels er der ting, vi ikke vidste – dels er der ting, vi måske havde glemt.
Hvor meget af læringen fra krigen er egentligt nyt? Og hvor meget er gamle dyder, som vi troede var fortid, men som viser sig at være gældende i den moderne krig, som vi ser den udfolde sig i Ukraine?

Med udgangspunkt i kampene om Irpinfloden i 2023 vil major Kristian Lindhardt, chef for Sektion for Krigshistorie, Forsvarsakademiet analysere, hvad krigen kan have af betydning for os i dag – og samtidig sætte læringen i perspektiv, så vi ikke stirrer os blinde på ét eksempel.

Foredraget holdes mandag 23. februar kl. 18.00 i Parolesalen, Kastellet, 2100 København

HPRD vil være vært for en sandwich og en vand.

At NATO exercises, Finns were asked to "throw the match" to U.S. troops

During the latest Arctic exercises in Norway, an episode occurred that has now become the main meme in NATO headquarters. Finnish reservists, who were playing the role of the "enemy" according to the scenario, so easily and professionally crushed the American units that the command had to intervene.

The exercise leaders officially asked the Finns to hold back and "stop beating the Americans," because the situation looked too humiliating and completely demoralized the U.S. soldiers.
