Наша організація Alabama United Hearts For Ukraine вже другий рік поспіль підтримує медичний добровольчий підрозділ Госпітальєри — тих, хто щодня рятує життя на передовій.
Ми мали честь відвідати їхній штаб у Києві, поспілкуватися з представниками та волонтерами, почути їхні історії та побачити тренування нових медиків, які готуються до відряджень у найгарячіші точки війни.
Сьогодні ми ділимося особливим відео — словами вдячності від Госпітальєрів, адресованими кожному з вас. Це подяка нашій громаді в Алабамі, яка організовувала благодійні заходи та жертвувала кошти на підтримку цієї життєво важливої роботи.

💙💛 І вже зовсім скоро ми продовжимо цю добру справу:
📅 17 грудня та 📅 21 грудня відбудуться нові благодійні заходи.

✨ Visit to the Kyiv Headquarters of the Hospitallers ✨
Our organization Alabama United Hearts For Ukraine has been supporting the volunteer medical unit Hospitallers for the second year in a row — those who save lives every day on the frontlines.
We had the honor to visit their headquarters in Kyiv, speak with representatives and volunteers, hear their stories, and witness the training of new medics preparing to deploy to the hottest zones of the war.
Today we share a special video — words of gratitude from the Hospitallers addressed to each of you. This is a thank-you to our Alabama community, which organized charity events and donated funds to support this vital mission.
💙💛 And very soon we continue this good work:
📅 December 17 and 📅 December 21 we will host new charity events.
Join us to support the next fundraiser for the Hospitallers and help those who save lives in the most difficult moments.

Разом ми згадали шлях України до свободи, заспівали пісні, почули живу музику й поділилися частинкою української культури з друзями та партнерами в Алабамі.

Together, we honored Ukraine’s path to freedom, sang songs, enjoyed live music, and shared a piece of Ukrainian culture with our friends and partners in Alabama.

After volunteering at Orienteering at World Police and Fire Games, I went to hockey game. It was only sport which had Ukranian representation.
Even so, there were not enough players to have a team. Birmingham policemen and Canadian firefighters joined in and were wearing Dinamo Kharkiv uniform. The team lost a game, but it was very heartwarming to cheer for Ukranian first responders. I had an opportunity to spent time with them after game. War stories, survival stories...
They definitely had great time to be on ice. They do not have to many opportunities to play or to train in Ukraine. Sometimes lost game is still a win. They came here not just to play but deliver a message of continuous fight for independence. It was heartwarming to hear that players from other countries put a lot of efforts to provide a help to Ukrainian first responders, including monetary donations and supplies. Brave people of brave country.
