21 травня українці по всьому світу вкотре одягнуть вишиванки, щоб показати: де б ми не були – ми залишаємося разом, ми зберігаємо зв’язок зі своєю країною та один з одним.

📌Як долучитися до кампанії #ВишиванкаЄднає? Є кілька способів:
✔️ Візьміть участь у глобальному флешмобі: опублікуйте 21 травня фото у вишиванці та додайте хештег #ВишиванкаЄднає, вказавши своє місто та країну.

On May 18, Ukrainians worldwide honour the memory of the victims of the 1944 deportation of the Crimean Tatar people – one of the biggest crimes of the Soviet regime. Over the course of just a few days, hundreds of thousands of people were forcibly removed from their homeland in Crimea and deported to Central Asia, the Urals and Siberia. Thousands became victims en route or in the first years of exile due to starvation, disease and inhumane conditions.

🔻 Today, more than 80 years later, Russia is once again attempting to silence the Crimean Tatar voice – this time through the occupation of Crimea, repression, political persecution and the forced displacement of people from the peninsula.

🔻 Crimea should not be mentioned only on May 18 or on the anniversary of its occupation. It must be part of every conversation about Ukraine, victory, justice and our shared future.

The memory of the deportation of the Crimean Tatar people is a reminder of the cost of Russia’s impunity. We must keep it as our shared responsibility – to speak about Crimea, support its people and ensure the world does not grow accustomed to occupation!

18 травня українці усього світу вшановують пам’ять жертв депортації кримськотатарського народу 1944 року – одного з найбільших злочинів радянського режиму. За кілька днів сотні тисяч людей насильно вивезли з рідного Криму до Центральної Азії, Уралу та Сибіру. Тисячі стали жертвами вже дорогою або в перші роки заслання від голоду, хвороб і нелюдських умов.

🔻 Сьогодні, через понад 80 років, Росія знову намагається знищити кримськотатарський голос – уже через окупацію Криму, репресії, політичні переслідування та витіснення людей із півострова.

🔻 Крим не можна згадувати лише 18 травня чи в річницю окупації. Він має бути частиною кожної розмови про Україну, перемогу, справедливість і наше майбутнє.

Пам’ять про депортацію кримськотатарського народу — це нагадування про ціну безкарності Росії . Маємо говорити про Крим, підтримувати його людей і не дозволити світу звикнути до окупації!

🇳🇴 Today, we warmly extend our congratulations to all Norwegians and friends of Norway around the globe on Constitution Day, known as Nasjonaldagen (National Day).

We deeply value the historical and cultural bonds that have connected our peoples, going back as far as the era of Garðaríki, the Old Norse name for the lands of Kyivan Rus’. These longstanding ties continue to flourish in the strong and friendly relationship between our nations today.

We are truly grateful for Norway’s solid and consistent support for Ukraine and its people since the onset of Russia’s brutal full-scale invasion. As a close ally of Ukraine, Norway has taken one of the leading roles in an initiative to supply F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine, including necessary training of Ukrainian pilots. It has also made a significant contribution to strengthening Ukraine’s air defense, notably through the highly effective NASAMS systems developed in collaboration with the United States. In addition, Norway remains one of Ukraine’s leading European financial supporters outside the EU.

We also express heartfelt thanks to the people of Norway for offering safe and warm hospitality to thousands of Ukrainian women and children seeking refugee war.

Ми також щиро вдячні Норвегії за тверду і послідовну підтримку України з початку злочинного повномасштабного вторгнення Росії. Як близький союзник України, Норвегія відіграла одну з провідних ролей в ініціативі щодо постачання Україні винищувачів F-16, включно із необхідним тренуванням українських пілотів. On the third Sunday of May, Ukraine and the global Ukrainian community solemnly commemorate the victims of political repression committed by the communist regime. 🕯️

We honor the memory of those who suffered under the brutal policies of Soviet totalitarianism — the innocent men and women who were executed, imprisoned, or exiled for simply seeking truth, freedom, and dignity.

As Ukraine continues to resist Russian aggression in a full-scale war, we pray not only for the victims of the past but also for those who continue to suffer today. May their memory be eternal.

Щороку в третю неділю травня Україна і світова українська громада вшановує пам‘ять жертв політичних репресій, скоєних комуністичним режимом. 🕯️

Ми вшановуємо постраждалих від жорстокої політики радянського тоталітаризму — невинних чоловіків і жінок, яких стратили, ув'язнили або відправили у заслання за їхні прагнення правди, свободи та гідності.

Intense rescue operations lasted more than 28 hours. So far, 24 people are confirmed victims, including three children, a kindergarten teacher, a young athlete and his girlfriend, daughter of a fallen Ukrainian soldier, and postal delivery workers...

Ordinary people. Ordinary lives. Taken by Russia’s war.

We shall not forget. The world cannot look away from the tragedies Russia’s aggression continues to bring to the people of Ukraine!

Інтенсивні рятувальні операції тривали більше 28 годин. Наразі відомо про 24 жертв, серед них — троє дітей, вихователька дитячого садочку, молодий спортсмен і його дівчина, донечка полеглого військового, працівники поштової доставки…

Звичайні люди, звичайні життя. Які забрала росія.

Today, on the International Day of Families, we remember that family is the most precious thing one can have 💙💛

Due to Russia’s aggression, millions of Ukrainian families are separated by borders, front lines, occupation, or forced displacement. Many are spending this day far from their loved ones, carrying constant worry and one shared hope: to be together again.

On this day, we wish every Ukrainian family the most important things of all — to be together, to be safe, and to have a happy future in a free Ukraine!

Сьогодні вшановуємо Міжнародний день сім’ї, і водночас особливо гостро усвідомлюємо: сім’я – це найдорожче, що може мати людина 💙💛

Через російську війну мільйони українських родин сьогодні розділені кордонами, фронтом, окупацією чи вимушеною еміграцією. Багато хто зустрічає цей день далеко від рідних, у тривозі за близьких та з єдиною мрією: знову бути поруч.

This is what a night looks like for ordinary families in Ukraine — when Russia attacks ❤️‍🩹

Ukrainian blogger Yulia Norets shared real footage of how she and her family spent the night in fear and anxiety during Russia’s massive attack on Kyiv. Together with her children, she sheltered in a hallway and basement throughout the night. Thankfully, the family is okay and safe now.

❗️ Last night, Kyiv endured one of the longest and largest Russian attacks since the start of the full-scale war. As of now, at least 9 people have been confirmed as victims and dozens more injured.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to everyone affected. Ukrainian families deserve to live in a world free from Russia’s war!

Українська блогерка Юлія Норець поділилася реальними кадрами того, як вона та її родина провели ніч у тривозі й страху під час масованої атаки РФ на Київ. Разом із дітьми жінка ховалася у коридорі та підвалі. На щастя, ніхто з родини не постраждав.

❗️ Цієї ночі Київ пережив одну з найтриваліших і наймасштабніших російських атак за час повномасштабної війни. Станом на зараз відомо щонайменше про 9 загиблих і десятки поранених.

On May 14, Ukrainians around the world traditionally commemorate the Day of Remembrance of Ukrainian Righteous Among the Nations — those who, during the World War II, risked their own lives to save innocent Jews from persecution.

The Holocaust took millions of lives, including around 1.5 million Ukrainian Jews. More than 2,700 of the 27,000 Righteous Among the Nations were Ukrainians. Having lived through N**i and Soviet occupation, and now enduring Russia’s ongoing invasion, Ukrainians know all too well what it means to stand on the side of hope, humanity, and rescue in history’s darkest hours.

We honour those who risked everything to save innocent lives. On this day, as we remember the Ukrainian Righteous Among the Nations, we also call on the world to stand united against Russian aggression — just as it once came together to stand against N**ism.

14 травня українці усього світу традиційно вшановують День пам’яті українців-праведників народів світу, які у роки Другої світової війни рятували євреїв, ризикуючи власним життям.

Голокост забрав мільйони життів, серед яких — близько 1,5 мільйона українських євреїв. Понад 2,7 тисяч серед 27 тисяч Праведників народів світу були українцями. Переживши нацистську й радянську окупацію та витримуючи нинішнє російське вторгнення, українцям добре відомо що таке лишатися на стороні надії, людяності та порятунку у найтемнішу годину історії.

Віддаємо шану тим, хто ризикував усім заради порятунку безневинних. Вшановуючи пам’ять українців-праведників народів світу, закликаємо світ бути єдиним у протидії російській агресії — так само, як колись світ об’єднався проти нацизму!
