🛠️ Анонсуємо новий проєкт для молодих композиторів — «Веркштат»
На українських землях у відповідний історичний період не утворилося потрібних передумов для виникнення Ренесансу, i cтиль життя українців із середньовічного одразу змінився на бароковий.
Втім спираючись на засадничі ознаки української культури, логіку історичного розвитку, якби-острозькі-жили-на-100-років-раніше, можна спробувати сконструювати власний образ українського Ренесансу, яким він міг сполучити Середньовіччя та Новий час. А передовсім — його музичний вияв.
📝 Ми запрошуємо молодих композиторів віком до 35 років помислити на цю тему. І протягом проєкту «Веркштат» створити ансамблевий твір тривалістю 7-10 хв разом з ментором — німецьким композитором Sven-Ingo Koch, володарем престижної Штутгартської та Римської премій, учнем Ніколауса Губера та Браяна Фернігоу, резидентом Schloss Solitude, SWR, ZKM, Villa Massimo, Casa Baldi.
Свен відбере 5 композитор_ок, проведе консультації онлайн та репетицію очно в Києві, а також буде присутнім на фінальному концерті, що відбудеться у Національна філармонія України у рамках Kyiv Baroque Fest 2025. Під час концерту відбудеться багатоканальний професійний відео та аудіозапис твору.
Максимальна інструментація: скрипка (можлива також барокова скрипка), альт, віолончель, контрабас, флейта, сопілка, кларнет, теорба, бандура, клавесин, перкусія, електроніка.
Організатори: Центр музики молодих, Open Opera Ukraine, Національний будинок музики. Приїзд Свена-Інго Коха в Україну відбудеться завдяки підтримці Goethe-Institut Ukraine

In the Ukrainian lands of the relevant historical period, the necessary prerequisites for the emergence of the Renaissance did not exist. The economic recovery from the Mongol invasion was underway, and a new state, the Grand Duchy of Lithuania, was being formed with its own administrative and social system. As a result, society was undergoing significant changes, and few people were interested in the ideas of humanism, exploration of the world around them, and continuous creativity. The lifestyle of Ukrainians immediately changed from medieval to baroque.
However, based on the fundamental features of Ukrainian culture and the logic of historical development, if-Ostrogski-lived -100-years-earlier, we can try to construct our own image of the Ukrainian Renaissance, which could have connected the Middle Ages and the Modern period. And above all, its musical manifestation.
We invite young composers under the age of 35 to elaborate on this topic. And during the Werkstatt project, they will create an ensemble piece lasting 7-10 minutes together with a mentor, German composer Sven-Ingo Koch. The final concert will take place at the National Philharmonic of Ukraine as part of Kyiv Baroque Fest 2025. The concert will feature a multi-channel professional video and audio recording of the piece.
Maximum instrumentation: violin (baroque violin is also possible), viola, cello, double bass, flute, flute, clarinet, theorbo, bandura, harpsichord, percussion, electronics.
Realization of the project is done by CMM Youth Music Center, Open Opera Ukraine, National House of Music; Sven-Ingo Koch's visit to Ukraine is supported by Goethe-Institut Ukraine.
