Shaving Supplies Delivered to Konotop City Hospital 🧴✂️

Even the smallest act of care can bring comfort during difficult times. This week, Angels for Ukraine delivered a new batch of shaving supplies to Konotop City Hospital in Sumska Oblast, helping 60 low-income and vulnerable patients.

For patients facing long treatments or extended hospital stays—maintaining personal hygiene isn’t always easy. Something as simple as a razor and shaving gel can restore a sense of dignity, normalcy, and emotional strength. These small items remind people that they are seen, cared for, and not alone.

War leaves marks not only on the body but also on the mind. Returning from the front line, the experience of captivity, the loss of fellow soldiers, amputations, suicidal thoughts — these are part of the reality that mental health professionals work with every day.

Clinical psychologist Oksana Dziuba works in a rehabilitation center as part of a multidisciplinary team with soldiers, former prisoners of war, and their families. We spoke about trauma, aggression, the loss of trust in the world, and what helps a person choose life.

Recently, our team at Angels for Ukraine delivered 500 liters of drinking water to the Tsibli Rehabilitation Center, a facility dedicated to providing crucial care and support for Ukrainian veterans on their path to recovery.

This center does incredible work helping those who have sacrificed so much for our freedom. We are honored to stand by them and contribute to creating a more comfortable and supportive environment for their patients.
