The first painting in our collection opened up a new perspective on contemporary art for us.
It was one of the artist’s early works, created at a time when he was changing his style and experimenting. And just as the artist was discovering a new path in his art, we encountered something new in our own lives.
We acquired the painting for a birthday — and it immediately became for us a manifestation of the unusual, something new that awakens feelings and questions. In that moment, we realized that something had changed forever! The painting enchanted us, made us pause, and reflect.
We were the first in our circle of friends and acquaintances to start collecting contemporary art. That’s why it was so important for us to find like-minded people, to grow in this direction. Since then, the goal of our travels has been to visit art fairs, biennials, and galleries.
