A student who put his career and studies on hold to help children and adults in Ukraine has finally graduated with a Master’s degree in Play Therapy from Queen Margaret University.

🌟 Day 5 in Ukraine: Made it to Odessa 🌟

Today, I met up again with Peter, the director of the orphanage that we have continued to support since the escalation of the war. He spoke of the incredible resilience of the children who, amidst ongoing conflict, are relocating to schools far from home to stay safe. 🎒✏️

The orphanage, near a railway station and mill, is too close to key civilian infrastructure - the kind that Russia has been targeting with drones and shelling and so, the kids are heading to different schools, some up to 100km away. This means they need school supplies and essentials for their new journeys. 📚🚌

Thanks to the amazing support from our community and local businesses, we've gathered backpacks, notebooks, pencil cases and plenty to fill them to help these children continue their education. Your generosity and compassion make all the difference! 💪❤️

A huge thank you to everyone who attended our events and donated to this cause. Together, we're bringing hope and support to these young lives during such challenging times. Tomorrow the children will be coming together to celebrate the end of the Summer and I'll get a chance to see them all 😁🙏✨
