💥 Під звуки вибухів і повітряних тривог сотні тисяч випускників в Україні складають національний мультипредметний тест. В таких умовах важливі не лише знання дітей, а й можливість скласти іспит без додаткових перешкод.

🌤️ В одній із шкіл Охтирки На Сумщині вже не бояться, що іспит доведеться зупиняти через відсутність світла. За підтримки Європейської комісії ми встановили сонячну станцію та акумулятори, які гарантують енергопостачання за будь-яких умов. А нові котли забезпечать тепло в класах із початком опалювального сезону.

🔔 Умови в школах мають сприяти навчанню, а не нагадувати дітям про війну.

💥 Amid explosions and air raid alerts, hundreds of thousands of school leavers across Ukraine are sitting their national multi-subject test. In such conditions, what matters is not only what the children know, but also their ability to sit the exam without additional obstacles.

🌤️ At one school in Okhtyrka, Sumy Oblast, they no longer fear that exams will be interrupted by power cuts. With the support of the European Commission, we installed a solar station and batteries that guarantee electricity supply in any circumstances. And new boilers will ensure warm classrooms when the heating season begins.

🔔 School conditions should support learning – not remind children that there is a war outside.

Пандемія. Онлайн навчання. Евакуація. Тисячі обстрілів Дніпропетровщини та постійне очікування дзвінка від тата з фронту.

🌻 Це реальність Валерії, Олександра та Кароліни. Вони мали жити звичайне підліткове життя, але натомість змушені дорослішати в укриттях.

🛫 І попри все це вони мріють. Про IT, про подорожі до дивовижних закордонних країн, про навчання в університеті.

📚 Ми підготували репортаж про те, як прифронтовий ліцей творить дива під землею, і чому ці діти не перестають будувати плани на майбутнє.

🌻 This is the reality for Valeria, Oleksandr, and Karolina. They should be living ordinary teenage lives, but instead they are growing up in shelters.

🛫 And yet, despite everything, they continue to dream. Valeria dreams of a career in IT. Oleksandr and Karolina dream of travelling the world and studying at university.

📚 We’ve prepared a report on how a school near the front line is creating opportunities underground — and why these children refuse to stop planning for the future.

Уявіть собі – ви замовили собі їжу у контейнері, який теж можна з’їсти буквально до крихти. Ланчбургер – так називається унікальна страва, яку вигадав підприємець із Слов’янська.

🍔 Перед самою війною Микола нарешті здійснив свою давню мрію – відкрив невеличкий заклад швидкого харчування у рідному місті. Але обстріл зруйнував його житло та бізнес, тож чоловік змушений був переїхати до Дніпра.

Микола винайшов не лише нову страву, а й спеціальний прес для її запікання. Усе накреслив, виготовив власноруч. У планах – ще багато кулінарних шедеврів, наприклад, безшовні пиріжки, де майже не треба докладати ручної праці.

🤝 Дивіться, як грантова підтримка у потрібний момент змінює все – навіть для людей, які звикли розраховувати лише на себе.

Imagine ordering food in a container that you can eat too – down to the last crumb. A lunchburger – that is what this unique dish is called, invented by an entrepreneur from Sloviansk.

🍔 Just before the war, Mykola finally fulfilled his long-held dream – he opened a small fast-food caffe in his hometown. But shelling destroyed his home and business, and he was forced to move to Dnipro.

Mykola invented not only a new dish, but also a special press for baking it – he sketched the whole thing out and made it with his own hands. He has plenty more culinary ideas in the pipeline – including seamless pies that require almost no manual work.

🤝 Watch how grant support at the right moment changes everything – even for people who are used to relying only on themselves.

🚚 Ми доставили 170 гігієнічних наборів до Новодонецької громади Краматорського району – однієї з найбільш обстрілюваних на Донеччині. Кожен набір розрахований на три місяці та призначений для людей, які через стан здоров'я не можуть пересуватися самостійно.

💥 Громада регулярно потрапляє під удари. Магазини здебільшого не працюють, під'їзні шляхи до багатьох сіл перекриті або небезпечні. Для людей, які залежать від сторонньої допомоги, це означає, що навіть найпростіше – засоби щоденного догляду – може місяцями лишатися недоступним.

🤝 Розповсюдити набори допомагає місцева адміністрація. Ця підтримка стала можливою завдяки американському народу.

🚚 We have delivered 170 hygiene kits to the Novodonetsk hromada in Kramatorsk district – one of the areas in Donetsk Oblast most heavily affected by shelling. Each kit is designed to last for three months and is intended for people who are unable to move independently due to health conditions.

💥 The community comes under regular attack. Most shops are closed, and access roads to many villages are either blocked or unsafe. For people who rely on outside assistance, even basic necessities such as personal hygiene and daily care products can remain out of reach for months.

🤝 The local administration is helping to distribute the kits. This support has been made possible thanks to the American people U.S. Embassy Kyiv Ukraine

У Дніпрі є місце, куди приїжджають з усієї області, бо знають, що тут допоможуть.

🌻 Центр реабілітації «Мальва» вже понад 11 років приймає дорослих та дітей із перших місяців життя. Вони безкоштовно відновлюють своє здоров'я разом із фізичними терапевтами, педіатрами, психологами, логопедами та соціальними працівниками.

Та одного ранку осколки ракети влетіли просто на територію закладу. Персонал і пацієнти встигли спуститися в укриття, тому обійшлося без постраждалих.

💥Наслідки були значними. Через затікання дощу їдальня закладу перетворилася на місце, де соромно й небезпечно було годувати людей.

За підтримки уряду Швейцарії в рамках програми «Відновa» ми спочатку відновили покрівлю, а тепер ремонтуємо саме приміщення.

💗 «Дякуємо за небайдужість», — каже Ольга, керівниця центру. І за цим простим словом — вдячність понад 70 людей з команди і сотень тих, хто щомісяця приїжджає сюди за допомогою.

In Dnipro, there is a place where people come from across the region because they know they will find help.

🌻 For more than 11 years, the Malva Rehabilitation Centre has been supporting adults and children — including babies just a few months old. Here, people can access free rehabilitation services provided by physiotherapists, paediatricians, psychologists, speech therapists and social workers.

Then, one morning, missile shrapnel struck the centre’s grounds. Fortunately, staff and patients had enough time to reach the shelter, and no one was injured.

💥 But the damage was significant. Constant rainwater leaks turned the centre’s dining hall into a place that was neither safe nor dignified for serving meals.

With support from the Swiss Government through the VIDNOVA programme, People in Need first restored the damaged roof and is now renovating the interior of the building.


💗 “Thank you for caring,” says Olha Loba, Acting Head of the centre. Behind these simple words stands the gratitude of more than 70 staff members and the hundreds of people who come here every month to receive support on their path to recovery.

Ветеран, який шукає роботу. Жінка, оговтавшись після евакуації, планує відкрити свою справу. Людина з інвалідністю чи пенсіонер, які стикаються із перешкодами там, де їх не мало би бути.

📝 Вчора у Кривому Розі ми говорили саме про них: разом із бізнесом, владою та громадськими організаціями. На круглому столі «Інклюзивність для бізнесу та громади» розбирали державні програми підтримки працевлаштування і досвід впровадження національної стратегії зі створення безбар'єрного простору. Експерти поділилися, які інструменти вже працюють, а де система досі змушує людей страждати.

Але найціннішою частиною стала групова дискусія. Учасники самі шукали шляхів подолання бар'єрів, з якими щодня стикаються мешканці їхніх громад. У підсумку сформували спільні рекомендації, які можуть лягти в основу реальних змін.

🌻 Саме такі зустрічі, де бізнес, влада і громада сідають за один стіл, є серцем проєкту «ВІДНОВА», який ми реалізуємо за підтримки уряду Швейцарії.

A veteran looking for work. A woman rebuilding her life after evacuation and preparing to start her own business. A person with a disability or an older person facing barriers that should not exist in the first place.

📝 These were the people at the centre of yesterday’s discussion in Kryvyi Rih, where we brought together representatives of businesses, local authorities and civil society organisations. During the round table “Inclusivity for Business and Communities”, participants explored government employment support programmes and shared experiences from implementing Ukraine’s National Strategy for Creating a Barrier-Free Environment. Experts highlighted both the solutions that are already delivering results and the areas where the system continues to fall short.

The most valuable part of the event, however, was the group discussion. Participants worked together to identify practical ways to overcome the barriers that community members face every day. The discussion resulted in a set of joint recommendations that could help drive meaningful and lasting change.

🌻 These are exactly the kinds of conversations that lie at the heart of the VIDNOVA project. By bringing businesses, authorities and communities to the same table, we can work together to build more inclusive and resilient communities. Коли почалося повномасштабне вторгнення, Очаків на Миколаївщині одним із перших прийняв на себе удар і тримає його досі.

🚑 Пропри загрози, місцева багатопрофільна лікарня ні на день не припиняла свою роботу. Перший час медики жили в самому закладі й не відходили від пацієнтів. А коли бракувало персоналу, на допомогу вийшли пенсіонери. Бо люди, що живуть під регулярними обстрілами, потребують безперервної медичної підтримки.

Але хто піклується про тих, хто рятує інших?

🤝 Завдяки підтримці уряду Великої Британії ми провели для медиків тренінг з профілактики вигорання. Дивіться, що кажуть про свій досвід учасники.

When the full-scale invasion began, Ochakiv in Mykolaiv Oblast was among the first cities to come under attack– and has been holding on ever since.

🚑 Despite the threats, the local multidisciplinary hospital never stopped working for a single day. In the early days, medical staff lived inside the facility, never leaving their patients' side. When there weren't enough personnel, retired workers came back to help. Because people living under constant shelling need uninterrupted medical care.

But who takes care of those who take care of others?

Раніше цей підвал Новомиколаївського ліцею на Дніпропетровщині був лише бетонною коробкою під будівлею. Темно, холодно і зовсім не схоже на місце, куди хочеться йти під час повітряної тривоги.

📚 Сьогодні 200 учнів та вчителі мають змогу не просто спуститися вниз, а й повноцінно продовжувати навчання.

Ми відновили це укриття за підтримки Європейського Союзу: облаштували туалети, обладнали сходовий підйомник для дітей з особливими потребами, зробили простір зручним та комфортним.

🌻 Але найважливіше, що тут зʼявилося — це навіть не ремонт, а відчуття підтримки та спокою.

What was once just a bare concrete basement beneath Novomykolaiv Lyceum in Ukraine’s Dnipropetrovsk Oblast has become a safe and welcoming space for learning. Dark, cold, and uninviting, the shelter was never designed to be a place where children would spend hours during air raid alerts.

📚 Today, however, 200 students and their teachers can continue lessons there safely whenever sirens sound.

With support from the European Union, we renovated the shelter, installing toilets, adding a stair lift for children with disabilities, and transforming the space into a comfortable and accessible learning environment.

🌻 Yet the most important change is not the renovation itself. It is the sense of safety, support, and peace of mind the shelter now provides to children, teachers, and parents alike.
