She counted the pebbles in the walls and dreamed of what life had been like BEFORE. Lessons at kindergarten, games with friends, and going OUTDOORS. She remembered walks with her family, especially in the city park.
Alisa lives in one of the most dangerous parts of Kharkiv. That is why almost a whole year she was in basement of their house.
Than happened Radooga. It was a true relief.
Alisa’s first lesson was also her first taste of freedom in a year. Here, she found Legos, a kind teacher, children who became her good friends, and, most of all, the Bible. Here, Alisa’s childhood is restored.
She is a seven-year-old girl again, happy again. Her cheerful voice is often heard in the class. She calls the other children friends and freely gives warm hugs.
In the spiritual part of the lesson, Alisa pays special attention, her eyes shining with interest. It’s not just Alisa who is learning about God. Every Sunday, the entire family attends church services. We hope God works through the lessons at Radooga and through these church services to form faith in this little girl.
