Not staged not scripted. Just the alternative reality that Ukrainians have adapted as normal life.

By the way this is not on the frontline, not messages between soldiers, the ballistic didn’t come from a contested area. Just russia targeting book kiosks in Kyiv in a residential area. Purple text is sitting in Germany, black - Kyiv. The distance is only 900 miles between them. But the worlds are decades apart.

The routine: go to bed, wake up to explosions, check the news, message a friend, back to sleep.

Why do our friends have to put up with this? 💙

Despite US halting all military support to Ukraine for over a year ➡️

Despite Ukrainians now training American soldiers on how to defend against shaheed and other drone adversaries ➡️

Despite American collaboration and warm welcomes to russian leadership and businesses ➡️

Despite constant insults to the Ukrainian struggle for independence ➡️

Ukraine still honors America today with the American flag over Mother Ukraine, one of the most powerful and iconic monuments in Kyiv.

Mother Ukraine faces towards russia, protecting Kyiv from the enemy to the north.

It takes a village.

When a friend from the Kharkiv direction messaged me about his friend’s car being hit by an FPV we joined the collection. Shortly after the car was fully repaired and back in the battle.

Spring has sprung, and STRIX, a rapid response brigade has completed successful missions on enemy antennas and communication equipment.

Without radio links russian occupying forces cannot effective coordinate attacks, jam, operate UAVs, or guide their cruise missiles to Ukrainian targets (which are usually civilians).

AlpineDignity is proud to continue supporting STRIX and other brigades this spring. .kh.ua

•back-up supply unit general funds (most units purchase items with deductions from their already minimal monthly salaries) >$1700
