On September 9, the first meeting of the English Communication Club took place in the Івано-Франківська обласна універсальна наукова бібліотека ім.І.Франка as part of the WOA Ivano-Frankivsk.
The club was created for everyone who wants to improve their English skills, overcome the language barrier, and gain more confidence in everyday communication. The peculiarity of such meetings is the opportunity to practice English in a relaxed atmosphere, discuss interesting topics, meet new people, and simply enjoy live communication.
The club was led by Anastasia Khandiy, a foreign language teacher who helps participants practice language skills, maintains a friendly atmosphere, and encourages everyone to join the conversation.
The first meeting was dedicated to getting to know the participants, who also discussed the topic of Self-Care. Participants had the opportunity to introduce themselves, talk about themselves, their interests, and discuss topics related to daily self-care, their physical and mental health. Special attention was paid to conversational practice - after all, the best way to learn to speak English is to speak it.
The club has become a space where you can not be afraid of mistakes, ask questions, try new words, and gradually become more confident in communication.
“Window on America” is not only books and information resources, but above all a space for learning, communication, and new opportunities.
We are glad that from now on, within the framework of the project, there will be another platform for practicing English and meeting people who share the desire to learn and develop.
The English Communication Club continues its work!
The next meetings will be held on October 7 and 14 at 1:00 PM at the following address: Ivano-Frankivsk, Nezalezhnosti St., 46.

В Івано-Франківська обласна універсальна наукова бібліотека ім.І.Франка, у рамках діяльності проєкту WOA Ivano-Frankivsk /«Вікно в Америку» представлено книжкову виставку «Крок до мрії: освіта та англійська мова», створену для всіх, хто прагне розширити свої освітні можливості, удосконалити знання англійської мови та дізнатися більше про навчання у Сполучених Штатах.
На виставці зібрано інформаційні та навчальні матеріали про систему освіти США, можливості вступу до американських коледжів та університетів, освітні й обмінні програми, дистанційне навчання та академічну мобільність.
Окремий розділ присвячений вивченню англійської мови. Відвідувачі можуть знайти підручники, посібники, словники та матеріали для вдосконалення граматики, лексики, читання й практичного використання англійської.
Для тих, хто планує навчання у США, представлені також матеріали для підготовки до міжнародних стандартизованих тестів, зокрема SAT, GRE та TOEFL.
Виставка стане корисною школярам, студентам, викладачам, молоді та всім, хто мріє про навчання, професійний розвиток і нові можливості у міжнародному освітньому просторі.
Крок до великої мрії починається зі знань. А знання - з книги!

Друзі, чудова новина - з вересня розпочинаємо новий курс навчання англійської мови рівня A2! Заняття проводитимуться щочетверга о 15 год. за адресою: вул. Незалежності, 46, Івано-Франківська обласна універсальна наукова бібліотека ім.І.Франка , WOA Ivano-Frankivsk .
