*Wanting What God Wants*

There’s a quiet peace that comes when your desires line up with God’s will. It doesn’t mean life gets easier, but it means your heart stops fighting itself.

When you want what God wants, you stop chasing what looks good and start holding what lasts. You stop forcing doors open and start walking through the ones He’s already prepared. It’s less about getting everything you asked for, and more about trusting that what He gives is better than what you imagined.

Some days it feels like surrender. Other days it feels like freedom. But every day, it’s alignment. And in that alignment, anxiety loses its grip, purpose gets clearer, and joy stops being conditional.

So today, pray for this simple shift:
“God, align my heart with yours. Help me want what you want for me, even if it looks different than my plan.”

Because when your will and His meet, that’s where real rest and real purpose live.

*5 THINGS YOU MUST LET GO OF TO MOVE FORWARD*

Sometimes the reason we're not moving forward is because we're holding onto things God told us to release. Today, let's talk about five things you need to let go of if you want to step into your next level.

1. LET GO OF PAST HURTS AND UNFORGIVENESS
Hebrews 12:15 warns us "See to it that no one fails to obtain the grace of God; that no root of bitterness springs up and causes trouble." Holding onto past hurts is like drinking poison and expecting the other person to die. That pain from betrayal, that disappointment, that offense - it's time to release it. Forgiveness isn't about them, it's about freeing yourself to move forward.

2. LET GO OF TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS
Not everyone deserves a seat at the table of your life. Proverbs 13:20 says "Walk with the wise and become wise, for a companion of fools suffers harm." Some relationships are holding you back, draining your energy, and pulling you away from your purpose. It's okay to love people from a distance. Protect your peace and your destiny.

3. LET GO OF THE FEAR OF FAILURE
Fear of failure keeps more people stuck than actual failure ever could. Romans 8:15 reminds us "For you did not receive a spirit that makes you a slave again to fear." Stop being paralyzed by "what if it doesn't work out?" What if it does? What if your obedience leads to the breakthrough you've been praying for? Take the leap - God will catch you.

4. LET GO OF OTHER PEOPLE'S EXPECTATIONS
You will exhaust yourself trying to please everyone. Galatians 1:10 asks "Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God?" You can't fulfill God's plan for your life while living according to someone else's script. Stop performing for people's applause and start pursuing God's approval. Their opinion of you is not your reality.

5. LET GO OF THE NEED TO CONTROL EVERYTHING
Proverbs 3:5-6 instructs us to "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding." Some of us are stuck because we won't release control to God. We want to know every step, see the full plan, and understand the entire journey before we move. But God says "Trust me." Let go of your tight grip and surrender it all to Him.

PRAYER
Father, we surrender everything to you right now. Help us to release what we've been holding onto - the hurt, the toxic relationships, the fear, the need for approval, and the desire to control. Give us the courage to let go and the faith to trust that you're working everything out for our good. Free us from the weight of the past so we can step into the future you have for us. In Jesus' name, Amen!

REMEMBER: You can't embrace what's ahead while you're clinging to what's behind! 🦅
