Healthcare Clowning International Meeting in Switzerland, amazing three days event that happens every four years and gathers hundreds of artists, healthcare professionals, scientists, psychologists, founders, leaders and many others. This time there was over 650 attendees from 43 countries and over 140 organization from every continent (including four of us from Ukraine) For me personally it was incredible opportunity, to expand my perspective, to deepen my understanding, to learn from the best, but also to express our gratitude for emotional and material support during the last four years of war, as well as share my experience of clowning in our highly stressed environment. And last but most important to reconnect with friends and colleagues, many of whom I see once in four years and connect with many new ones.

Exactly 19 years ago, we visited the Children’s Regional Hospital КП “Дніпропетровська обласна дитяча клінічна лікарня ”ДОР” for the first time. Our red noses and eccentric behavior seemed a bit odd and out of place back then. Over the years, however, the daily visits of our Doctor CLOWN Dnipro team to the wards have built bridges of understanding and joyful collaboration with the dedicated and precious medical personnel. By bringing smiles, laughter, and a much-needed distraction from stress to both little patients and their parents, we have fostered a mutually beneficial relationship. Today, almost two decades later, medical clowns have become a familiar and beloved presence within these hospital walls. We are deeply grateful for the kindness of the hospital administration, especially General Director Алексей Власов and Chief Nurse Юлия Оксенюк. Thanks to their appreciation of our work, we now have a fantastic new "office" 🙂 , dressing room, and rehearsal space—a place where our 'potion' of love and laughter is prepared daily.
Sadly, due to the war, our once-large team has shrunk to just a few full-time members. If you live in Dnipro, have an artistic background, or have professional experience working with children, we invite you to join us. In April, we will restart the Hospital Clown Training Program, and we would be happy to see you spread your wings with us.

In 2025 our small team of crazy crusaders for love and laughter conducted 248 hospital programs in Dnipro main children hospital, reaching over 6,500 little patients and their parents. Additionally we organized 18 clown programs for children living in the frontline regions, performing in the bomb shelters and basements, also in the shelters for war displaced families and for children with disabilities in the specialized centers and schools. Besides that we conducted 30 group and individual sessions of Hibuki therapy as well as 6 laughter therapy sessions for children with special needs.
All together 302 programs in 2025, the clowney expressions of love and care. It wouldn't be possible without your encouragement, prayers and support. Heartfelt thank you 🙏❤
Our application of laughter therapy, the moments to relieve the stress & tension, to wholeheartedly laugh, to release pent up negative emotions plays a very important role in healing traumas for both children and adults. Clowns provide not only those liberating moments but also a companionship, listening ear, help with caring for elderly. Wherever our team went, people were drawn and clung to that message of joy, love & hope clowns convey. But as Hellen Keller (deaf and blind since the age of two), famously wrote in her book : “Optimism does not ignore reality, but it looks beyond it”, so do we, firmly grounded in the happiness mode we also fight our war: war with gloom, despair & hopelessness.

Санта Клаус разом з ельфом до дітей спішать!

Коли Санта не встигає, він знаходить собі помічників, щоб кожна дитинка відчула тепло свята та любові.
Ось наш Руслик та Шоколадка перевтілились у Санту та ельфа, щоб завітати до друзів. 🤗

В кожен дім заходило свято, пісні, посмішки та любов.
Ми разом грали, танцювали, наряжали ялинки, грались сніжками. А дітки готували вірші та пісні для Санти, після цього з великого, червоного мішка з'являлись подаруночки.🎁
Для кожної дитини та батьків це було диво-свято.

А Ромі та Кості пощастило, навіть, прокатитись разом з Сантою, ельфом та оленем в новорічному клоуномобілі. 🚘

Це було дивовижно🌟❤️❤️

Marganetz is targeted daily with the artillery shells, drones and missiles. Many people left but most stayed, including number of children, who for third year already are doing their schooling online. We had a bit of fun and around 200 families received so needed help: big box of hygiene items and winter jackets for their little ones.

World Mental Health Day, conference organized by UN International Organization for Migration, it was so precious to talk to over hundred of leaders and managers of various NGOs about joy and hope which can survive any circumstances and hardships.
