We are delighted to announce the launch of the 6th edition of the Power of
Goodness Video Competition, co-hosted this year by Zones 21 and 22.
This collaboration brings together over 4,000+ Rotary clubs, offering an
extraordinary platform to showcase impactful projects from all Areas of Focus -
including, for the first time, dedicated End Polio initiatives.
The Power of Goodness video competition exists to inspire. It highlights Rotary’s
distinctive approach to addressing global challenges through commitment,
collaboration, and innovation. By telling our stories with authenticity and pride, we
strengthen public awareness of Rotary’s impact and amplify our collective mission to
create meaningful, lasting change, both locally and globally.
The awards ceremony will be honored by RI President-elect Yinka Babalola,
together with the organizing committee (final details tbc).
The competition website is now live, and clubs from District 2232 can already submit
their videos here: https://thepowerofgoodness.com. The submission deadline is
11 May.
On behalf of the organizing committee, I want to extend an invitation to participate
as jurors in one of the selection stages before reaching the finalists. Please
confirm your availability and I will send the details soon.
I am absolutely convinced that District 2232 has dozens of impactful projects and
video case studies that can be submitted for these awards.
That is why I kindly ask for your support in promoting this initiative within your District
and encouraging clubs to participate actively in this meaningful and inspiring
competition - whether through a direct message to Club Presidents or via your
Facebook and WhatsApp groups - to ensure strong visibility and participation. The
attached posters may be used to support your communication efforts.

Відео, які надихають і показують реальний вплив Ротарі — знову у фокусі міжнародної спільноти.
Оголошено старт 6-го конкурсу відео «Сила добра» (Power of Goodness), який цього року спільно проводять Зони 21 та 22. Ініціатива об’єднує понад 4000 Ротарі клубів і відкриває потужну платформу для презентації найкращих проєктів з усіх напрямків діяльності Ротарі — включно з ініціативами End Polio, які вперше виділені в окрему категорію.
Конкурс покликаний не просто зібрати відео — він формує глобальну історію впливу Ротарі. Через реальні кейси, сильні історії та якісний сторітелінг ми підсилюємо публічний імідж організації та демонструємо, як принцип «Service Above Self» працює у різних куточках світу.

Що важливо знати учасникам:
* дедлайн подачі — 11 травня 2026 року
* тривалість відео — 2–3 хвилини
* проєкти мають бути реалізовані після 1 липня 2023 року
* обов’язкові англійські субтитри
* відповідність брендингу Ротарі
Оцінювання проходитиме у чотири етапи — від дистриктного до міжнародного журі — за критеріями креативності, змісту та технічної якості.
Цьогоріч також передбачена окрема відзнака для проєктів, пов’язаних із боротьбою з поліомієлітом.
