Established in 2007, Zanzibits is Zanzibar’s only Information and Communications Technology (ICT) focused Youth Training Centre. For disadvantaged youth growing up in poverty, Zanzibits offers the programs and supports to educate and enable youth to begin to stabilize and build their lives. Focusing on creativity, innovation, and entrepreneurship, Zanzibits affords disadvantaged youth with job and
life skills training, generating positive change makers equip with the skills to build Zanzibar’s future. We work directly with talented but underprivileged youth, ages 17-25 years. Every year 30-40 students start our program with a basic computer skills course. After this course, 15-20 students are then selected to receive scholarships for a full year of training.
